they called claiming to be a federal officer and threatened to take me to court unless I pay $497. they said they would come to my work. I could settle out of court to avoid the court procedure. When I pressed for details, they did not have them and became hostile toward me. These are scammers scaring people to pay them money. I am worried because they had my information, my home address, last of ssn, and my number.

Second time this has happened now! First time they said I owe money to a payday loan place. Called me hundreds of times, and every extension at my work hundreds of times. I asked them to call me, not my work. They responded that they will call my work until i get fired, or i pay them! Reported them to local police and phone company. Will be doing the same with this situation. Said my account is going to the courts. Heavy middle eastern accent. Asked me how much money i make! Said I owe money to Cash Net. Told him I've never done any business with Cash Net. He then told me Cash Net has hundreds of lenders they use and I have an account with one of them. I asked which one and he couldn't tell me. This is rediculous that these people are able to keep doing this. Why are they not arrested????? Please do something about this!!

don't know who these people are but I am sure going to find out. They swindled me out of $550.22. At least I feel swindled. The reason I gave them $550.22 of my hard earned money was because I was TERRRIBLY afraid of getting arrested, sent to jail and to appear in court. I'm 23 yrs old. I didn't ask questions because I was running out of time but I have every intention of investigating this, knowing my rights, and seeing if these people are legit. This is the 2nd phone call in this nature that I have received. They threatened to take my money, my reputation, and my very FREEDOM. Please ask them QUESTIONS. ALL KINDS of questions. When the payday loan was made, the transactions, the way they got your information, the amount of the loan. Ask to speak to the creditor themselves. If they say they are calling because of cashnet.com or easy cash advance or quickcash or anyone else, ASK to speak to them. Ask them WHY they didn't call you before filing a suit against you. I'm not a law student, I don't know much about laws, I'm a factory worker who feels she got swindled. ASK all these questions and before you let them take your HARD EARNED money, Research, and investigate if these people are LEGIT.

Called Threatening that I needed a lawyer and I better call. After googling the number, found out it was a scam trying to say I owed them money for some payday loan.. Never called them back. These guys need to be reported and shut down for harassing people and the call I recieved was at work..

This company calls 4 or 5 times a day, sometimes they call, hang up and call right back. They have been calling for a few weeks now, but I waited for them to leave a voicemail but they do not. Today I called the number back from my works unlisted 800 numbers, the first call they wouldn't answer and kept me on hold for 10 min and hung up. The next 5 calls they hung up almost immediately, on the 6th call someone with an Indian accent answered and tried not to tell me who or what the company does, he finally said they were Cash Net, I told him they I never contacted them, I had filed many complaints about them and that I was recording on my company's 800. He hung, so we will see if they stop.
