This same number has called me before claiming i owe some money,and someone is filing a lawsuit against me and told me i needed to pay some money, I asked for paper work and they couldn't tell me who i owed afetr argueing with a couple of men they hung up now they are calling again after some months of not calling.

caller had a thick accent and used poor gramer. Frank claimed to be calling about a law suite filed against my social, then went on to give the wrong last 4 of my social.

Some 6 months ago, an individual with a thick Indian accent kept calling from a California number and was threatening to file a lawsuit concerning a loan I apparently received and defaulted on. There were many descrepancies, such as the company's name, the caller's name, the company I supposedly signed up for, and my bank's name. They insisted it to be Wachovia, which I don't have. They did have my correct social and birthdate, and even rattled off the IP Address used to commit the crime. I've had Suntrust for 2 years, and I'm 20 years old so how many accounts could I have had, you know?
After I enjoyed hanging up on him with the threat of an attorney, which I contacted, I convinced myself that I did nothing so no need to fear. However all of us can agree that it feels a bit haunting to be accused of CRIMINAL charges.
So today after 4 months, they decide to call back from what is now a Texas number, threatening that the lawsuit is still intact, and listing off my criminal charges. Anyway, that's as much as I could understand from his thick, annoying voice, which prompted me not to interrupt him. I was nie enough to obey. And really, if they want to seem legit they should try sounding like they're within our country's boundaries!
I want to tell anyone fearful of their threats to be rest assured because you know you did nothing and therefore that is the truth.
