Robodialer that I get repeated calls from. Press 1 to connect to an agent. Spoke to woman, she only would identify the organization as "Clean Planet Project" and refused to provide a telephone number or any type of address. Would not identify location other than "California". They faked the caller ID on the inbound call. Call center noise in the background.

Connected to agent "Brian". Agent indicated "Clean Planet Project" as privately funded company pre-screening for solar power sales in various areas. Agent indicated his location is at Ventura CA. The call contained background sounds of an office/call center environment with multiple people talking to others on the telephone.
Research indicates a related business of "NRG Home Solar" ( https://www.facebook.com/nrghomesolar ) ( https://www.nrghomesolar.com ). No Fictitious Business Name (FBN) of "The Clean Planet Project" has been filed with the Ventura County Recorders office or California State as an incorporated business entity.

It was first a recording to say i can qualify for lower energy bills. Then it transferred me to a lady who claimed she was from Clean Planet project and works with a number of solar companies. This is telemarketing for solar company disguised as community outreach.

"We're not a company, we're a community group qualifying people for solar energy": it sounds like this is "NRG Home Solar" in Ventura, CA running a boiler room to generate leads for solar equipment sales. This call came to a cell number, so it's probably illegal. I strung them along for five minutes.
