"Brian" from... 708-328-8747.. called our business this morning. He abruptly hung up after I told him our owner does not come in to the shop and I am the office manager, I can help. I called the number on our caller ID to be put on their do not call list. He lied and pretended to be from "Leon's Barbecue" asked if I wanted to place an order and told me I was having a bad day. He should be fired for misrepresenting his company, lying, and using poor judgement in who to talk business to. Other reports identify the company as Merchant Warehouse, not sure, they aren't either.

Have made 30+ hang up calls to cell past 2 weeks. Today actual person came on line and stated, 'I know you are A*****e and your SSN is ***-**-****. You owe Provision credit card $1680 and I intend to collect. I attempted to advise he had the wrong person and he told me to be quiet until he finished his statement. When I finally advised he had the wrong person, that I had just gotten this cell # he asked why I didn't say that to start with. Then he said I was lying and I was actually talking on A*****es cell phone and he wants his money. Told him again, wrong person and number. He said, 'I know you know her and are using her phone.'
I advised him I did not and he said Providian would sue me.
Providian went out of business over 8 years ago. So I wish I could reach the person he divulged all the info about so they could take action against Dynamic Recovery.

This number just called my business claiming they were contacting by our electrical company OG & E that our service would be turned off in the next hour due to non-payment. We are new owners and I know our first bill wasn't due for another month. He said to contact customer service at 1-800-587-1750, option 1, and then offered to connect me. Something didn't feel right, so I told him I would call OG & E myself. I did end up contacting my utility company and verifying that I didn't owe payment and wouldn't be shut off. The representative asked if they asked for payment or a pre-paid card, which they didn't. I provided information about the call to be turned into the security department and they advised to contact the local authorities. THIS IS A SCAM, DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE. When in doubt, hang up and call a reputable number for your company from your statements or a website.

Said his name was Brian however he sound like he was from India and stated that he was from the Stae Medical Department (I don't think the State of Michigan has one) and said that I am entitled to a lot of money from a medical compensation pertaining to using Blood Thinners and according to his records I was using these specific thinners. Told him he might want to inform my doctor that I am on blood thinners since they have never been perscribed to me so he insisted twice that I was using blood thinners than hung up.

Received a call from 703-372-0808 from "FOP of Virginia" to donate (non tax deductible) to the Fraternal Order of Police. They were pleasant enough but insistent, I asked them to send a mail request... they had my name and address... and they agreed to send it. I have also seen other posts saying that they might be for-profit solicitors that take some/most of the money before it goes to the FOP... which makes sense since I think the FOP maintains a 503c charity which should be deductible. Most posts recommend sending directly to your local FOP post. HTH

The correct name of the idiots behind 407-358-6044 and 352-233-4017 is Johnson & Moore Associates a Law Firm located in Columbia South Carolina. I know this because I called them this morning to warn them I was going to use inward forwarding on my business lines to redirect the first # (an Apopka FL #) to the Apopka Police Dept and the second (a Belleview FL #) to the Ocala Police Dept, so if they continue to call they will reach a real law enforcement investigator, I am sure after too many calls, the police will stop them. I have confirmed that only the originator # information is passed through the forwarding, not the number that did the forward, so it will show as they called the police directly (ha ha ha) and those business lines are open the same hours these idiots work. I also learned they are highly illegal - they are not registered with the South Carolina Bar, meaning not licensed to practice law in South Carolina and probably not anywhere else either. Guess what!? After warning them this morning, they called my business Orlando # and I am sure they enjoyed talking to the Apopka Police. I did warn them what would happen, that is why I call them idiots.

These folks call on a regular basis saying they are from Microsoft Windows and there is a "Crisis" with your system. If they do not go on immediately to fix the system, it will crash and you will lose all your hard-drive. I let them go for it for a while..not giving them any access to my computer, etc..and they DID ask for a credit card..they are SCAMMERS..I plan to try to call the Nassau County DA to see if there is anything that can be done about them

Somebody named Brian called me on Jan. 16, 2013 and told me I could recieve a 100 dollar Wal-Mart voucher for a trial period of ID Theft protection for 7 days. They told me the monthly cost, which seemed reasonable. and when I asked if I could pay monthly. I was told yes. They charged me $4.75 for the trial period, which I agreed to. I was told I could cancel within 7 days. Today, the 20th, they deducted $83.75 for a years worth of protection. When I called and told them I wanted to cancel, that they broke the agreement, I was hung up on several times and then a rep got rude. She said she would cancel it for me, but I need my money back and I don't know if I'll get it.
