I got a call, pressed 9, and asked to speak to the guys supervisor. After being on hold the man picks up and asked how he could help me I calmly said "I would like to be taken off the calling list" he started SCREAMING at me. "Why are you calling me, wasting my time?! I answer thousands of calls and your wasting my time! " and I told him "if you don't take my name off your dumb list then I'm suing you for harassment!" Then the cursing started "FUCK YOU! YOU'RE WASTING MY TIME!" then we got into a bit of a yelling match and he ended up passing the phone to the first guy who then said "why would you waste my managers time?!" I yelled back and said "BECAUSE I KNOW YOU AREN'T A REAL COMPANY! IF YOU WERE THEN YOU WOULD NEVER SPEAK TO SOMEONE THAT WAY! AND YOU'RE WASTING YOUR OWN TIME!!! I DON'T EVEN OWN A CREDIT CARD!" He then calmed down a tad and said "so you don't have a credit card for Victoria?" I'm assuming he was going to say secret but I cut him off "NO! I am on CASH ONLY! So really you are wasting your own time by keeping me on your calling list. If you listened to me and took me off then you can call someone else to scam! But I dont have anything for you to get ahold of!" "So quit wasting MY time!"
He apologized and said I would be taken off and asked if he could be of any more assistance... next time they call I'm going to try to freak them out by saying I charge my card to the most awkward thing I can think of. I used to work at a porn store, so I know how to make people uncomfortable.

Good luck to everyone

I agree. I got a call from this number and an automated message asked to press 1 and being curious as I am, I pressed 1.

He was talking about lowering interest on my credit cards but I don't have any balance on any of the cards.
Second ting is that he told that they are credit card payment agencies and work for many banks and credit card companies. that was a second negative.

I asked the guys how did he get my number and he said he didn't call me rather I selected an option to talk to him regarding my credit card balances.

Finally I told him that I don't carry any balance - how would it help me to save money on interest rate?

Definitely a scam. Beware!!!

He reported that he could lower my interest rate on several credit cards. The was first indicator that he didn't work for any one credit card and that this was a third part business. I asked to be taken off his list and argued with him for over a minute saying no no no and he finally just hung up on me. It's a SCAM. Phone number says Austin, but I'm thinking India or Pakistan.
