A guy named Douglas called my wife from this number 972-435-0004 he identified himself as a criminal investigator and he said he was calling about a "bank fraud" he called my wife's job which to my understanding no collection company can do without the consent of the person involved. He was very unprofessional and he said he was going to turn the paperwork to court and my wife was going to go to jail. I don't think this is a legit call.

Has been calling relatives stating that we are in a lawsuit and they need to verify our address and place of employment so that they can serve my husband papers because he's being sued. He threatened to go to my husbands work and home and my husband told him off and told him to go ahead he will be waiting... They never stated what the lawsuit is for.... Kept saying just call the number which was the 1-888-794-8760 and the case number was WG***.... It's a bunch of crap!! I will report the number and person and get the authorities involved...

A man from this number texted me trying to purchase something I posted on craigslist. First he wanted to pay full price for an item (no negotiation, which is odd for craigslist - first red flag). Then he offered to pay me an additional $20 if I held the item for him until he could "get off work" to come check it out - second red flag. He wanted to pay via cashiers check. When I told him I only take cash, he gave me lame excuses and said he would pay me more if it could be via cashiers check. So I google searched his phone number and found it on another website reporting him as a scammer.

He callled me at work and left a message with a coworker saying I would be served & said I had to call back. He called me the next day and I told him not to ever call me at work ever again. He started to raise his voice, so l ended the call

i had the same person call. he said the same thing. called from number 972-435-0004. said he was a criminal investigator. hung up on me when i started asking him questions. isnt it illegal to impersonate law enforcement. he left a message on my phone stating this..i owe no money so i dont know what this guy wants...beware of this person
