They too called my job saying I took this loan out 2 years ago. If I were to pay them today they would settle for $ 1,008 after they told me I am being sued for $ 2,403..Are you kidding me ?
I never took such amount of loan out. Anyway they were very rude. Telling me they have my bank account information from the bank..etc..when I told them I need this in writing they told me they will send me a letter within the next 3 days. Good luck in court. Received a letter from this company last week referencing a unpaid loan for a contract signed with Sprint LTD. They claimed the debt was for $1683 but were willing to settle for $673. When I called the did have the last four of my social. Very scary! But the information didn't add-up. I asked for more information about the company and they gave me dates that just didn't add up. Then they tried to scare me with court... Really for a debt you're claiming was from 2006? The rep ended up hanging up on me so I called back. The second person was even more rude and refused to confirm that they were a licensed debt collector.

my parents called me hysterical as they got a call (# blocked) stating I was being sued. callback # 856-412-9806. I called they are trying to collect on a Old Navy charge I paid off back in 2008. What was a bill of $100 they are now asking for $2,000. this person told be to cry in a pillow when I disputed this issue. He said he was going to take me to court, but never verified any of my personal info. ie current address/phone# both of which I changed 7 years ago.

I got a call from a lawyer named Tom Reynolds from Financial Mediation Group. He was trying to track down my brother for some credit card debit she supposively had from 10 years ago. He was very rude and called myself and my whole family "losers" and several other swear words. After researching Financial Mediation Group I found they are a debit collection agengcy out of Flordia. After trying to call their headquarters I never actually talked to a real person. These people are using scare tactics to try and collect old (and often paid) debt. He yelled and used foul langange and insulted me and my family numerous times.

They called me 8 months ago using American Asset Recovery.Said my husband owed money....he has been dead 5 years and died debt free .I also have had no debt for over 8 years.
They are mean, nasty, and threatening!
They also have called daughter-in-law, looking for him or me!

I received a call from Financial mediation group from 518-615-9592.They keep asking for my deceased Husband who passed 5 years ago.All our debt was paid off over 8 years ago, and he died without any debt.I refuse to even talk to these people as they called 8 months ago having me in tears.They also went by another name something recovery agency.They claim to have sent many notices to my address and I have never received one piece of mail from them.I was also threatened to be given a summons and taken to court.
They just won't let up.

I contacted my local sheriff's office & they believe it to be a scam. They threatened to garnish my wages & freeze my tax return, my sheriff's office said there's no way they can do that. They wouldn't provide me any kind of verification after I repeatedly asked...

Received a very threatening call from this collection agency. They claimed to work with the sheriff's office, an arbitration company and a lawyer over the course of our conversation. The person, who only identified himself as Mr Reynolds, was increasingly aggressive when I refused to verify my address and called me trashy and a "ghetto a-- b----". He threatened to send a sheriff to arrest me when I refused to set up an immediate payment.

Google search indicates that address is actually a Regus Group virtual office space / mailbox drop . Company is not a licensed Debt Collector in the State of Florida.
