Today's call was the newest version of the IRS/TIGTA scam on my voicemail. 10:33 AM PDT

A very polished female voice claiming to be from the IRS!

She instructed me to call 347-389-0029 for instructions. It was busy. So am I. Here are ways to report these criminals.

Got a call from David Jones and said that he was from the IRS and that there was a claim against me and there was a lawsuit that was going to be filed and asked if I had counsel to represent me. Knew from the moment that I heard him it was a scam. You could tell the connection wasn't clear and he had a very thick accent - and he was very very rude. Told him I was a lawyer and he asked for my bar number and I gave it to him and immediately he hung up. If you call the number his voicemail comes and says he is an IRS officer. I reported it to the IRS.
