this guy "melvin marks" called me also and said that i am guilty of tax evasion or something, for some reason he had a previous address of mine so and I gave him my new and current address so he can send me the letter in the mail. I guess that was bad judgement on my end but is this anything to worry about and what can he do with my address, its public info anyway, he already had my name, cell number and previous address anyway

Said IRS will take action against me for "whatever" and this was final notice. Provided number to call back. Not in this lifetime!

Called and said I owed a bond to the IRS. I told him that that does not make sense. I told him that if he works for the IRS then he should send me a letter and not be bothering me. He then hung up. The number is +1-646-248-7629. I called them back and then they got angry at me for calling them. Hilarious! So, I plan to call them back intermittently for the next 7 days. They are based in India so I think they get charged to pick up the call, which is why they get angry.

I received 2 calls from the same person who says that "I should not disregard this call because it is quite urgent and time sensitive" Although I moved almost 3 years ago and the mail might would be forwarded, there is no way they could have my new home number without my new address. Also should the IRS contact you, they do so by mail and also cross ref your address.

My call seemed to be the same as the previous person.Caller said that the IRS was suing me and I needed to call the number and "do not ignore this message." He called 3 times so far.
