This company is or person calling calls once a week and leaving threatening messages saying if I ignore the message to return the call, they wish me luck on what is going to unfold upon me. Very strange, sounds like a person from another country with a heavy accent.

Today I rec'd a second call threatening me with IRS reprisal for tax evasion/fraud. The first message said I would need to have my attorney on hand when I called back because I was in a "lot of trouble". She was calling for my deceased husband, by name - I called back and when I told her my husband was deceased, she then wanted to know if we filed jointly at any point - (the IRS would know that). As soon as I challenged the caller with "It is my understanding that the IRS does not contact tax payers by phone over these issues" - she hung up.
The second call today indicated that I had been reported for tax evasion and fraud and before they issued a warrant for my arrest, I could call this phone # 571-281-8702. The caller identified himself as James Anderson (although I don't think he had any Scandinavian heritage - more of a Hispanic accent with poor English grammar). I did not call back this time.

Called claiming he was from Publishers Clearing House. He asked if I was familiar with them and I hung up. The number showed up as coming from Jamaica. He was talking extremely slow and sounded odd. He said his name was James Anderson.

Received numerous phone calls today from this number. Caller stated his name as James Anderson and that he was calling from Cores & McLaughlin Legal Associates and that there was a lawsuit in my name. I requested he send me whatever necessary paperwork and ended the first phone call. He immediately phoned back and left a message threatening me with jail time regarding the lawsuit. An Internet search the 800notes announcement of the scame and I spoke with someone from Esp, Kreuzer, Cores & McLaughlin, LLP who confirmed this is truly a scam and that there is a huge investigation ongoing. Filed a complaint with the IC3 as per the FBI's suggestion.

Last week he got very angry at me and called me a "Nigger" 13 times. All because I would not give him any information.

I asked how I won and he stated it was because of "my shopping habits at Walmart, I pay my bills on time, and I never committed a crime". I asked for a call back number and he gave me 876-375-5171 because I felt as if it was a scam.

This man spoke with what i would call an Indian/Southeast Asian accent. He told me I won $150,000 and a Mercedez Benz of my color choice, through a Presidential Raffle. He also said only 50 ppl in da Farmington area would recieve this 'prize'. My only obligation was to get a $150 receipt from the nearest Western Union. Only then could we move on, as to how I would recieve my 'prizes'. He also repeatedly told me I was a lucky girl, "judging from their records".

Called the number back and received a message from Verizon indicating the number has been disconnected or changed so they are definitely using a Telephone Number Spoofer.
