Foreigner scumbag calling my cell phone saying that it is very important that I call him back. It is not a live message. Implies IRS implications if I do not. The IRS does not make outbound calls like this unless a case is already opened for you. The IRS sends written notices and will not make 1st contact phone calls like this. I would like to find this guy and string him up.

He called and left a voice mail stating he was from the IRS and working on some IRS issues related to us, and that it was very important to call back. If we ignore the call there will be very serious consequences. Also he mentioned he was a police officer. As soon I heard the message I knew it was a scam. IRS don't call or email you. If there is taxes issue, they will contact you via US mail. Be very carefull if you receive a call from this number 585 283-8485. Call the police.

Got this call today on my voice mail. Same exact IRS call as the others here got. Officer Jason Miller. I called my CPA right away and she confirmed that IRS would never ever call directly without any case reference etc. and would not leave a message like that. I myself being an Indian I could make out that the accent was really a fake one like someone was trying to sound American desperately. Right after talking to my CPA I Googled the number and found this website. I called the number right away and there you go! It was picked up by a Indian guy. Even before he could say anything, I gave him a volley of my own threatening in Hindi (Indian national language) that they have been reported to FBI and the whole bunch would be put in jail and rot there for their life.

Claims to be IRS agent and wants you to send money via Money Gram to take care of debt; will leave voice mail stating that you need legal representation; THIS IS A SCAM; if you speak with anyone at this number, ask for the badge number, address of the office (they state 130 South Elmwood Ave in Buffalo, NY; not an IRS office), case number, and address they have on file for you; they cannot verify correct information and all of them sound like they are based out of a call center in Chennai or Bangalore...ask what kind of curry is their favorite
