This person called me yesterday about 20 times at home and on my cell phone. I have spoken to them several times before this (several months ago and alomost a year ago) denying that I owe them anything and that I had never taken out the payday loan they are calling about. They keep calling. But they never follow through with their lawsuit because this is a scam. They try to hide their number by using a local number in my area thinking that I will pick up when they call. They always call when I am at work. Thank gos for call id and answering machines. I want them to stop calling and I think I should get some money for the harassment I have had to endure over the past year

My heart nearly stopped when I played back my cell phone voicemail messages and heard that I was the subject of "a serious lawsuit" and that my SS# is on hold by the U.S. Government . A man with a very strong accent stated that his name is Officer Jeff Ford and stated that my residential address is currently under investigation. I think I believed him at first because he said my name. I called my mother who is the smartest person I know and she called the man back. He thought she was me and stated I owed for a loan that was never payed back. He refused to give the name of the company that this loan was from and stated we may need to get a lawyer to settle this issue. He then asked us to call (646-470-1673). I then typed this number into google and discovered that this indeed is a scam. Thank god I didn't give any info to this guy!
