Caller (on our Verizon landline) claimed that I was the subject of a lawsuit from the IRS. This is clearly baloney (the IRS starts with a letter if there is an issue or question of any kind with your return, per our experience) and we have no open issues with them.
Last, but not least, this particular scammer seems to have evaded NoMoRobo, which is concerning. That service usually squashes this type of vermin call.
