This is a primarily indian speaking telemarketing scam. If you answer they try to refer you for some debt setlement, mortgage refinance or other financial product that is supposed to help resolve debt issues, even if you don't have any. It is not a legitimate business,

It was a guy with a very bad accent. Unlike any I had heard before. He wanted to talk to me about my *wingos*..I keep trying to understand what he was saying. Finally, I understood he was trying to say windows (wingos). He was telling me my windows on my computer were corrupted and he needed to fix them...that was when I started laughing at him and told him I wasn't an idiot, but maybe he was for trying such a goofy scam.

Foreign Op stating they were from IT DEPT at Windows and wanted to talk about my home laptop. (I have an IT degree) so when I asked why they were calling me when I had not called them they responded by saying because all computers are connected globally. (which is complete bull that they've pulled out their wazoo for ppl who are not computer literate) They hung up on me.
