Received a few calls from 1-855-248-1559. Was told that it was an old pay day loan from 2013. They have called numerous relatives and most recently my work number. No matter who you speak with they will not tell you their address or full contact names. I asked for them to send me a letter verifying the debt, and not one person asked for my address. I asked them if they wanted my attorneys number and they could discuss it with her, the so called supervisor then yelled at me and told me not to call there again. I will call there again every single time I hear that they have called someone I know asking for me. The last time that I called them they could no longer find my personal cell number in their system, and wanted me to tell them every number that they have called so that they could take those numbers out of their system. I told the guy that he should know what numbers that they have been calling associated with my name or number. This is a total scam. I also called them back and said..."you are a total scam"...and the guy simply said.."thanks for telling me what my job is" and he hung up. NO valid Collection Agency is going to act the way that these idiots are acting or how they are talking.

This is Priority One Solutions, 3014 Delaware Ave, Kenmore, NY, 14216, Suite #4146. They will call you and harass you about fake debt and then pretend they didn't hear you on the phone stating that they can't call your employers or relatives. This company is a bully and is using bully tactics that are illegal, you will need to mail them a certified cease letter in order for them to stop, otherwise sue them and record your calls.

This is a CONFIRMED scam. Be warned: The caller's may call you from numbers that spoof a company's real number(s)
and may expand beyond the above user's reported power company scam. NEVER PAY ANYONE asking for money over the phone - especially when they demand pre-paid cards, credit card numbers, money orders, or bank transfers. ALWAYS WAIT FOR A DOCUMENTS IN THE MAIL, as ALL debt collectors are required to notify individuals in writing before action is taken. Also - hang up and login to the website to see your bill first...or hang up and call the company that these individuals claim to be. USE YOUR HEAD.

Caller claiming to be from windows and Mac support. just a few notes of Advice; 1. Microsoft and Apple will NEVER call you for support out of the blue. 2. unless you pay an IT company to actively monitor your computer no one has any way of knowing when there is something wrong with your computer. 3. MS nor Apple tech support will do much to help you with Virus or malware issues. these guys are criminals, hang on the phone long enough and you will eventually be asked to allow them remote access to your computer and/or pay them money, Don't do it!

Company selling home security systems. Every week they call using a different number with different area code. Seem to be using a predictive dialer because some calls have long lags before someone comes on the line.
Requests to be removed from the call list fail because they use a new number every week. Being on the FTC Do Not Call list is ignored. They are also calling cell phones which is another no-no.
Previous calls have come from:
650-372-5866

I just got a call from these same idiots that for the last month or two have been pestering me 15 to 20 times (I've given up counting), so every day or two (sometimes twice a day). They had been using 519-936-1585, actually spoofing their caller ID from there which would be a London, Ontario area phone number if it were good, which it is not. These calls come from some boiler room/call centre in Costa Rica. They used to identify themselves as "Equity Information Services", then "Equity Survey Services" and this time he was supposed to use some different name (I believe starting with "Information") but slipped up and started to say "Equity".
This "survey" is in fact fake and an attempt to set you up for a later call from someone trying to sell you some wonderful investments that will make you rich. It clearly is some sort of scam. The CRTC DNCL (Do Not Call List) is useless in situations like this. First, the CRTC cleverly exempted survey and polling companies from honouring the DNCL, plus the call comes from Costa Rice.

Person also said they were from the federal government. Stating that I have been selected to receive a federal grant of $7,500 - $9,000 that is totally tax free & I don't have to repay it. Every person that calls is from a middle eastern country. ie India, Pakistan, etc. they have also used the phone number....000-000-0000 & 987-654-3210. I told them, " GREAT NEWS. Since it is free just send me the check in the mail." Then they hang up.

One of my employee's just got this call from this number. I informed him it has to be a scam because the government will not call you to receive a grant or charge you a fee to receive it. They wanted him to get a green dot visa card to put $200 on it and call them back with the visa number so they could put $7,000 on his visa card. They told him it's a one day deal and he has to do it today. People if the government is going to get in touch with you, it would be a register letter not a phone call. I told him it sounds like a bad deal. More like a SCAM!

This number belongs to Kensington Research and Recovery at 1 East Wacker Drive, Ste 2350, in Chicago. It currently belongs to a telemarketer there named Angela. It doesn't matter if you are on the Do Not Call Registry, as that is not enforced. If you are you can pursue a suit on your own, but it might not be worth the money. Do a search via a search engine if you want to learn more.

They will state that the assessment of your property is too high, and that they can save you money by appealing it.

If they are calling, than it probably is too high, but you can appeal it on your own at the Assessor's Office and the Cook County Board of Review.

These people are from Capital Arbitrations Group or The Swatch Group. They are extortion scammers. They claim to work for the "courts". Sometimes they have real info and other times they are using maiden names and old numbers. If you try to speak to them, they will get loud and hang up. One call was for check fraud, and the second one was for a returned item from the bank.

They use such phrases as "govern yourself accordingly", and "we represent the courts". They are scammers and you should give ZERO personal info to them. Not your name, not the last four digits of your SS#, and definitely not any banking info.

This is a scam, they are not legitimate debt collectors. They purchase lists from companies when people try to get a loan online. They call people accusing them that they have an unpaid online loan and they need to pay to avoid either a lawsuit, going jail. Sometimes they have even threatened people stating that they would have the police at their door within hours to take them to jail

Because people often may have an unpaid loan, they scare just enough people into paying. Unfortunately many people have paid a lot of money only to find that even if they had an unpaid loan or debt, the payment didn't go towards it and the company is no where to be found on their credit report.

They are not legitimate and are a scam. They give you a very American sounding name and they always have a very thick Indian or middle eastern accent.

Unfortunately if you have ever filled out an application online to get a loan (or someone with similar information), (even if you ended up not getting one) they have all your info and they will follow up with threats and call your employment.

Your information is going to be sold over an over (legally) to many Indian companies overseas. They use a lot of VOIP phone numbers and are relentless.

If they call and threaten, take down their number let them know you are recording them and file a complaint with your states Attorney General.

Threatening you with jail is illegal. Tell them they cannot call you and can only communicate through mail. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS. Tell them if they were legitimate, they would have your address.

Tell them they are being recorded and if they call you again you will file a complaint.

These people are not a legitimate debt collectors.
