Had heard about such scam calls and just received one from 571-526-0007 this morning at 8:59a.m. here in Florida. Didn't answer, but listened to message after the call. Indian accent said they are about to issue a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud. I can't stop laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How the hell do these people get away with this crap? Our govt seems to know every move we make in our personal lives, but these people still prey on the elderly and gullible citizens of our nation and get away with it. Why isn't our govt watching these online forums and going after these a**holes?!!

I received the same call... Officer Charlie hung up on me when I started asking questions. Told me to listen to the message and call back. I called right back because I had listen to the message. Now the number won't connect. It automatically hangs up...

Illinois this time, same information reported on 01-07-2015 by Not Stupid Either, including the number to call back for additional information.
Caller ID indicated a business name beginning with "US Online" from phone number 972-908-5910.

I too received this call and I am also located in the Pacific Northwest. Glad other people received it to confirm my suspicions it is bogus. Same name, Officer Charlie, and same number 571-526-0007.

Says he's from IRS. Threatens arrest. Asks me to call back. But when I call back, won't give his name or identification. Obvious scam.

We also just received this pre-recorded message. He sounded like he was from India or another country. He, too, threatened us with a warrant for our arrest regarding tax evasion. Totally bogus, as we do not have any tax issues. These people are so stupid. He called today, 01/07/15, at about 1:50 p.m. (Pacific Time). He said if we had any questions to call back at 571-526-0007.
