Called stated his company, asked to speak with our Manager, named a department which we do not have, asked for my personal information. I refused and asked what was the purpose of the call, stated packages were lost and he was told to call per his VP instructions. I started to ask who send the packages, does he have tracking information he hung up quickly.

These jackasses are using multiple numbers like (918) 268-6607 that are spoofed or disposable to direct you to this number. I got one from "Paul with SportsNet" spamming me about sports betting.

These people tried telling me they could get me a quick loan for 1,500 dollars with a payback of 206 a month for 6 months. Then they told me I needed to go to walmart and get a greendot card and put 200 dollars on it for a INSURANCE POLICY. In case I couldn't pay back the loan. I told them to send me the paperwork on the policy and they said they don't do it that way. I also told them I would purchase policy using my credit card. They also said they didn't do it that way. This is a total scam. There is not a legit insurance/loan company who doesn't accept M/C or Visa. Or even a ACH transfer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OUTFIT UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY>

I called this number from a Help Option offered to me when I tried to recover an Admin Password on an ASUS laptop purchased from Microsoft and was locked out due to too many attempts at the wrong password.
Background: I set up a Microsoft Hotmail account for my grandson using his mother's name because my grandson is only 8 years old and isn't old enough to set up his own account. Well..... after allowing what I THOUGHT was a Microsoft authorized tech access to my grandson's new laptop, I'm told there is a trojan virus on my "network" called csrss.exe. "Csrss" stands for client/server run-time subsystem and is an essential subsystem that must be running at all times. Csrss is responsible for console windows, creating and/or deleting threads, and some parts of the 16-bit virtual MS-DOS environment. It IS NOT a trojan unless you look find it in Task manager that is not a valid Windows Folder (it is normally for in c:\windows\system32. This "Help" number tried to con me into spending money (either 299.99 or 369.99 - options from two different "Level 5 World Map Engineers" "Pyramids IT" or "Network Solutions" - who are probably the same con artists) to fix a non-existent problem. Don't fall for it. It IS A SCAM !!!

I'm so glad I did a little research on this, because I almost fell for it!! There were way too many red flags that I kept questioning. I got the exact text messages about his daughter and 4 friends who wanted colors, etc. The only difference was that his name was Robert, not Paul. But his email address was pacruz@gmail.com.

I already left a comment about this.... the same as all of you. I did find out from him that he found out about the salon using Facebook. He'd used my cell number to text to me instead of calling the salon.... guess I'll have to take down my information if these kinds of things persist.

I just had the same person text me tonight about hos daughter and 3 friends. I also got an emaila few weeks ago from a woman named Nancy that sounded just like Paul's text (hearing impaired and wanting to pre pay for salon services and talking about a "transport driver".

I knew something was fishy so I told him I didnt accept cards over the phone and he stopped texting me after that.

SALON OWNER - 11-08-2014

This "Paul" text my Business cell phone number asking to set up 4 appointments total, 1 for his daughter and 3 for her friends. After spending several hours calculating a quote for the numerous services he was requesting, he then informed me they would be arriving via limousine. He then wanted to add an additional $950 to the total quote that I gave him for the driver, a $1000 gratuity for myself and $100 for the last-minute appointment inconvenience. Once I calculated that total I started to get suspicious and at that same time he asked me to money gram The driver after he gave me his credit card number. I've been googled the phone number and found this website here, which then I promptly contacted the local authorities to file a report. It is a horrible shame that there are people like that out in this world that try to take advantage of us small business owners.

the person says that he is hearing disabled. Only accepts text messages. He wants to have his daughter & her 3 friends hair done. wanted to know how much it would be, and became rather irritated when I stated that we do not take clients unseen and that we do not take out of state credit cards with out identification.

This man texted me a well saying he was hearing impaired and could not talk over the phone so he sent me quite a few long texts saying he wanted to get his daughter and her 3 friends in for salon services and wanted to pay me $1000 some of which would go to a "transport driver" bringing the girls in. He avoided the question when I asked how he was referred to me and then began to explain a money gram wire transfer. Had I not googled his telephone number I would have been scammed. Watch out stylists don't give this person the time of day
