Recording telling me I had won a $100.00 gift card for visiting one of their affiliated websites. Press 1 to talk to an agent or 2 to be removed from their call list. These spam calls have been circulated forever from different numbers from Jamie, Lisa, Christy, etc. A bunch of lying scammers that needs to be shut down for good and arrested!!!

When I did not immediately pick up the phone, I promptly received a repeat call from this number. The caller identified herself as "Lisa, from the Rewards Redemption Center." She addressed me by name and said I had two $100 rewards-gift cards, then asked for a credit card number. She explained neither why I would have these rewards or gift cards nor why she would need a credit card number, rather than a mailing address, to provide them to me.

My cell only rang once. I checked number (314)815-8049. I called it back since it was local to my area to see who it was. Received a recording saying she was Lisa from the Rewards Redemption Center and that I would receive a $100 gift card just by pressing 1 or I could be taken off of their list by pressing 2. I just hung up.

They will hang up before you can answer the phone or it can go to voicemail. I screen all calls and hardly answer unknown numbers. I called the number back after seeing another review about a so-called "rewards redemption center". I've gotten scam calls before so I was curious. The automated voice said that I had used a "partner website recently and been selected for a reward in the form of a "rebay" gift card, good at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Sam's Club, K-mart and Target. Please press one to accept your reward or press two to be removed from our call list". You would have to know me to know that I like messing with people, especially when I can smell a scam a mile away, I pressed one. Immediately a heavily accented person starts speaking telling me how great it is that I won a gift card (I don't sign up at websites that I don't know so I'm 90% sure it's a Phishing Scam((spent time in my late teens as a telemarketer, I have an idea how it works)). I politely interrupted the person and told him I had one simple question before he got started. The question "Just how much information from me about myself are you going to ask for this (ahem) reward?" To which was replied "Well uh ma'am first just your name then I can see which reward you are qualified for then we go from there." I then responded "I don't think you fully understood my question, you said you'd have to send the "reward" to me so I'm assuming you're going to need my address along with my name. What I want to know is just how much more of my personal information are you going to ask me for? My social security number? A credit card number so that you can "verify" my identity?" His response.....Click, he hung up. Definite phishing scam. I hope this ends up helping someone, I'm already on the "Do Not Call" registry but I seriously believe that system is a bit overwhelmed with the amount of new scams popping up daily.
