Called me at work saying that they had a lawsuit pending in me. He stated he needed my attorney's number. I asked how he got my number. He said last four digits of my social . I stated I didn't have any info..?when asked his number he started speaking very low.. Also left message on my cell that if I didn't call back he wished me good luck due to my situation . Called my attorney :

Caller claims he is with the IRS he said that we are in trouble with the IRS we are also being investigated.and if we make payment to him the can forget the investigation. I asked his name and he said it is Robert smith with his poor english i told him you do not sound like a ROBERT SMITH.I TOLD HIM TO GIVE ME A NUMBER TO CALL HIM BACK AND HE GAVE ME 607-216-8884.AT THAT POINT I KNOW HE WAS A SCAMMER.i TOLD HIM IN A RUDE WAY NOT TO EVER CALL AGAIN AND HANG UP.

He called my job and cell phone....when I called back he had no strong indian accent...he put me on hold and when he got back to me he had the same strong accent.........I told him to go to hell.

Same as the rest, Treasury is suing me for tax fraud or something to that extent. Blah Blah Blah... I really do not think the government would threaten you, they would simply say call, and in all opinion would not care if you did not call back. They would just move forward.
But anyway, luv the threatening tone of the conversation.
