I got this SAME EXACT message. He said he was Shawn Anderson and with the Dept of Legal Affairs. Number 347.539.4270. Screw you Shawn Anderson and go internet community! re threatening to take people to jail? Seems like a really odd scam.

I received that exact message yesterday, November 5, 2015. The man identified himself as Nick Anderson but left the very exact message you received.

We received the same call multiple times today (11/5/15) from Shawn Anderson, Department of Legal Affairs. He asked for my husband, the first time he called I hung up on him. He called back immediately 3 more times and never left a message. He called back later in the day and left the following message: "This message is intended for (my husbands first and last name here). (Husbands first name), this is Shawn Anderson with the Department of Legal Affairs and I was trying to reach you in regards to a very important issue. This is a legal notification for you in regards to the enforcement action which has been started on your name. My number is 347-539-4270. I repeat that, 347-539-4270. Now, if for any reason you are busy to call back, I would suggest you to have your retained attorney to do it for you. As delaying calling us might end up in a legal mess for you. I hope you will take this right and call me back. This is Shawn Anderson with the Department of Legal Affairs looking forward to speaking to you. Until then good bye."

Caller left message in HEAVY Indian accent and was definitely reading from a script. Shawn Anderson calling from the Dept. of Legal Affairs concerning "... a very important legal matter." Definitely sounds like a scam. Didn't call back for fear of associating my name with my number in case it is an identity rip off scam.
Really appreciate the sight so I can confirm my suspicions!
