Male identified himself as "Steve ******" and said he was from Phila Gas Works (PGW) phoning to ask a few "survey questions" regarding my "recent experience" with PGW. I told him I have had no such "recent experience" and asked why he was phoning. He immediately got off the phone.
I immediately phoned PGW to report this phone call. They told me that this is definitely NOT a PGW phone number and that they are going to promptly investigate my report.
I suggested they look into the possibility that someone has hacked into the PGW customer data base and is systematically dialing customer phone numbers under the pretense of being from PGW.
Do not answer any questions from this scammer. Report it to PGW instead, at 215- 235- 1000.

Did have my name, although he mispronounced it. Then he said he was my grandson, when I asked which one, he said he was kidding and he was Steve who always changed my oil at the shop. When I asked which shop and when was the last time he changed it, the call went dead.

Fraud: They will give you a loan (they say) but you have to send them $200.00 up front to secure the loan. Then they wanted $425.00 due to my low credit score. I did it, damn. Then they wanted an additional $565.00 to pay the taxes up front. I said no, send me back my money. They said it would take two weeks. Of course it was not returned to me. Now they let my calls go, they won't connect or the send me to a voice mail box that is full or the few times they actually answered, they either transfer and disconnect me or outright hang up on me.

These people called my brother in law 4 states away looking for me to tell me I have court tomorrow and there will be serious ramifications if I wasn't there. Funny thing is I don't have court tomorrow and haven't been in a court room in 20 years. I believe it to be a scam.

It may be just Steve's character that makes him bavhee like that, not that he wants to show off his abilities. I've a tendency to bavhee like that too but I'm doing it just because I like analysis :P

Superb guide. I used your guide on the Facebook Timeline on my brother's wendidg website and edited a little. Looking awesome. For your current guide:1. Without using Javascript, is it possible to change the lala of the page? 2. Is it possible to include this in a forum (such as MyBB) so do notifications when a person replies to your thread/posts.

The first time they called me was about 2 weeks ago 10/23/2015 since I didnt recognize the number I let it go to voice mail. The gentleman said his name was Steve and he had mentioned that there is a warrant out for my arrest and that I need to call him back ASAP. Odd.. Why would I have a warrant for my arrest? So I figured if this was really an urgent matter they would call me back and sure enough I got the call the next day. This time I answered and the person on the other lined hung up without saying a word. Five minutes later they called again and of course the hung up.. The next day the exact same number came up, this time I let it go to voice Mail and this Steve guy left the same message as before. Ever since then they call me every other day at least 2-3 times a day around the same time but no message since the second incident. I'm sick of them calling. How can I make them stop??

I have been contacted by a company calling themselves NRA National Recovery Agency from 844-210-5847. They have been threatening to take me to court, have me arrested, etc for a long list of things I did not do. They have refused to send me verification of my debt nor provide a legitimate address of their company. I realize this is how they stay under the radar and due to that, I have very little information. I'm hoping with their number, others may have provided more information and this can be addressed. Just today I spoke to them, stated I am not paying a debt that they cannot provide information about, they then proceeded to contact my elderly parents, AFTER they have spoke to me at a verified contact number.
I read them passages from the FDCPA which they violated, each agent proceeded to again threaten me and hang up.

I'm hoping someone can get an address from this place

Asked for lady of the house. Told her what the fundraiser was for. Asked for her credit card and how much she would pay. She told him she didn't have a credit card. Then he asked for a check and she said she doesn't have that either. Then he's siege could come by and get it. She said no and hung up. He called again tonight and hung up when he heard voices in the bsckground. Called back A half hour later asked if she had received the information for the donation. She said no and she wasn't going to do it please don't call again. This is frightening for her and a type of bullying that must be stopped

I mistakenly did business with this guy. I would suggest you don't do any business with this guy. He will drop ship parts or supplies to your business that you didn't order and expect to be paid. He will ask for your home address to send you something personally because he's afraid it will grow legs and walk away if sent to your business. It's a cheap pocket knife!!!

First off I knew this was a scam, but I played along with it. First they tell you that you won a gift card from Walmart for 100.00 for participating in some survey for shopping there by a company called reward redemption. I asked them how did they know I shopped at Walmart and he said it was tracked by my debit card from Walmart....Yeah right. Walmart would be getting sued left and right for keeping your personal info and selling it to 3rd parties. Second. They wanted my card number so they can charge me 4.95 to ship it. So I gave them a phony credit card number. Then he said he had to transfer me to another line to get a confirmation number. This is where it got fun, the guy named "Steve" was obviously overseas and made that name up claimed he was in Arizona. I asked why did an 817 # show up which is clearly Fort Worth Texas and he did not know why...SCAM. I asked him what was his website and phone number and as he gave me the number I was calling it on the other line. -800-218-3849. It is a number to a healthcare center. Has NOTHING to do with rewards. He didn't want to give me a website so I googled it...FRAUD! He had the nerve to get angry with me for asking so many questions. Sorry Sir but people in America just don't give out their cc numbers to strangers! The REAL redemption rewards company is aware of this scam and has placed a warning on their website. This is clearly a bunch of idiots overseas somewhere trying to get our banking info. None of them speak good English and I even asked him to cancel the phony transaction just to see what he would say and he said he couldn't because it already been processed. That's funny because I gave him visa prepaid card that was never activated. Good luck w/that one!!
I am on a do not call list but once I updated my resume on Career Builder I have been getting calls from all kinds of scammers overseas. One even trying to send me a check to cash. Keep 30% and send them the rest. They are so STUPID. Please don't be fooled by any of their crap. They are scammers for sure!

Wanted to tell me about some federal grants (scam).
When I asked to be removed from their call list, he told me he could not do that. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was treated to a tirade of f-bombs along with him using my full name and reciting my home address to me.
