This URG caller by the name of Samantha Jacobs called me today threatening that I had accusations against me for breach of contract and theft by deception? I did not breach any contracts or deceived anyone! She said my name, and said that she was a senior case manager with URG. She also had a case reference ID number for my case? Finally she told me to contact the legal office at this number 855-831-0326. I think it's a total scam and that they're trying to get money from me and others. I would think that if it was a real serious matter that I would have gotten an official written letter from the authorities or something. How can I stop this!?

Harassing my family. They have never called me directly. I called them. Phone rang and rang and rang went to voice mail. I left a nasty message. I will hand it over to my lawyer tomorrow. I wonder if I can sue them.

called and said i got a payday loan in 2009. plugged in information i gave them from a previous call and did not use the incorrect information used the first time. i said let's call the police and they hung up. they are a scam operation, i told them i was a victim of true name id theft and they keep saying i got this loan. lies and harassment.

A client received a harassing call from 866-971-2193 claiming that they were taking them to court over unpaid debt. This client had just filed bankruptcy and the claim was false as all debts were included in the bankruptcy filing. Our office called the collection company operating under the name of URG and spoke to "supervisor" Tonya Barns at ext 271. She would not provide my office with a mailing address or any company information to send a a cease calling letter and to lodge formal complaint for Consumer Federal Protection Bureau violations. They are either buying bad debt and illegally continuing to collect on it; or are sourcing publicly available bankruptcy records to prey on consumers for quick cash.

THEIR CALLING FOR SOMEONE THAT NO LONG OWNS THE NUMBER. I'VE HAD IT FOR 5 YRS. AFTER REPEATED TELLING THEM TO STOP THEY STILL CALL. THEIR HARASSING ME BECAUSE I HAVE A NUMBER THAT THIS OTHER PERSON HAD.

I am getting the same thing!! It has been going on for a few months. The woman's name is Kayla Brown and she is calling for my mom. She says she has breached a contract and there's a complaint filed against her when I ask them what the complaint is she doesn't answer me and tells me to have my mom call her. I think it's a scam because we've never received anything but these phone calls and I'm sure they would be able to send us something in the mail if it was serious. You can contact the FTC and they can help you find out if it's a scam. Do they call you with an unknown number?
