Lady with strong middle eastern accent claiming to be from US Govt, offering $9000 grant - but needs bank info or credit card info to transfer funds. When i told her this is clearly a scam she quickly hung up.

Called for someone who used to live with me. Said needed to get in touch before warrant was served. As I no longer talk to the guy, called his sister on vacation in Hawaii (we live in Michigan). She could not reach her brother right away, so she called them. Turned out brother had already been tracked down, and had paid the bill in question several years earlier. They talked to me, his sister, and his mother (in Florida), and his job, as well as him. It's a bill collector.

I have RARELY EVER recieved such a RUDE call! This telemarketer had the audacity to call our UNLISTED number and when I very politely said that we just finished the paint job on our house we purchased a year ago, he said in his cocky voice: "well when I hear 'just finished' I think 365 days ago- bye bye." And hung up on me!!!

This number has contacted me twice. First was from "Medical Department" saying that I had been awarded "big moneys" for some disability that I don't have. When I told this woman that didn't speak English well at all, she hung up on me. The second time was a man from "State Medical Department" so I told him to never call me back. This is a phishing scam where they try to tell you that you have been awarded "big moneys," for their lack of any knowledge of the English language, so that they can try to get some sort of fee from you. SCAM!!!!

8:50 AM AZ Time Caller and again at 10:03 AM. Statement is broken up with gaps in his recording. This is what the recording states: "Hi! This message is intended to contact you, my name is Steve Martin and I'm calling regarding an enforcement action executed by US Treasury intending your ... ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt for a warrant issued for your appear before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is.. I'd like you to cooperate with us and help us to help you!" Called back while I was typing this! Will not call back of course. Can't imagine what this is going to avail anyone. I don't think it is a "prank call" it is more of a "scam call" most likely to see what information they can get from whomever is naive enough to answer or return this call.

Call came on both my cell phone and work number, showing as "unknown". Caller identified himself as what sounded like "Mr. Brillo", contacting me concerning a notification recording that I had received before the Holidays on Dec.18, saying that service would commence as of tomorrow, that paperwork is being filed today at 5:00p.m. and that he was "really" looking to get in touch with me before that, to inform me of what was taking place; or to have my Attorney contact them before 5:00p.m. at the #412-347-5733. He then went on to bring up my place of employment and saying they "may" be able to schedule it so it does not disrupt my job !?!? (Sounds like a threat to me. I am going to report this to the local Police). the idiot then went on to say: "I do appreciate your time and wish you the best of luck"

This number, 888-508-1189, just called our office (a law firm) and threatened the head attorney. Apparently there was a complaint filed against him, they gave our attorney a fake case number, and demanded more personal information from our attorney who refused before eventually hanging up. This is definitely a scam of some kind.
Our office is located in California. Based on what I have read online this is a nationwide scam. I will be looking into ways to report this to a law enforcement agency who can do something about it.

Elderly mother in law recieved two calls inside one hour stating that "immediate action" was required to fend of a "second attempt by a magistrate, court order or enforcement action" with "serious consequences" for ignoring the call.
