Ask to call back on phone no. 347-457-3869. Is this a valid IRS no? IRS never call on phone, always send mail notices. This looks like a scam. I have not responded to call but like to know who is doing this? Let IRS explain.

That I owe back taxes and if I don't pay I will be arrested. As a matter of fact the cops are on way to arrest me and to avoid the arrest I should pay the back taxes right away. The caller had an Accent. I figured it out that it was a scam. IRS do not make such calls . I am suggesting all those who receive such calls that it is a scam. Watch out.

Agree, I got the same message today and it's a total scam. IF you try to call back, you can't get through. I was hoping to confront the caller but the mailbox is full.

They called me and threatened to issue a warrant for my arrest if I don't wire fax to them what I owe to the IRS.
I do owe money and I am in the process of settling it so it sounded credible. When they demanded at least half the amount to be paid within the hour and not by credit card or from my account I understood it was a scam.

One 10/24/13 I got two message from him . He had foreign accent can't determine Spanish or German , he said call at 206 489 0116 and repeated it and mentioned some kind of tax crime I didn't understood him so I called him back but last night recording said that it is not a valid # this morning he called back and I spoke with him and he said the same thing I told him I gave this # to investigated already so he said oh ok no problem and hung up the phone . When I called this # again today some answer this this message IRS how mag j help u . I think it is a scam and these people making calls to fool people so please don't give them any personal info . If IRS has any issue with any matter they will send u a written letter rather than call.
