Scammer David cooper called from 2025343918 and identified him as IRS on Jan 22,14 at about 12:00pm and threatened me to be arrested if I do not pay $6500.00 outstanding balance on my IRS account, and also said that there is a law suit being filed against me and my wife. He also made someone called me identifying as detective named silversto a police officer. This police officer said that if I refused to pay $6,500.00 then he will send two police officers to arrest me. So I paid $6,500.00 to David cooper through green Dot money pack 13 cards each o0f $500.00. He wanted to pay me more but luckly I went to my friend house and told him about this, he said he is a scammer and a big fraud, do not pay him any money. During all this he did not let me talk to any one and asked me to keep my phone on. I reported this matter to police department. Next day (1-23-14) I called this number he was still using this number, I talked to him three times he was not scared, he looks like a very professional scammer & a big fraud who has been taking away USA citizen's hardship money by scaring them. Today(1-24-14) I called on the same number now his phone is not working. I just do not understand that why he has not been caught by our law enforcing agencies so far to stop him from further victimizing the innocent USA citizens.

I got a call from this number and left a VM in thick Indian accent. When I called back some "officer" Damon Marshall picked up the call and told me he has 10 years of my "Income Tax" papers in front of me (I haven't been in this country for that long to begin with!). He lost my attention then and there. He said I owe $4500 else he is sending sheriff to my work place (He called on Fedreal Holiday not to forget - Jan 20 MLK Jr. Day!). I said send me paper work of what I owe and then we will talk.He said there is no paper work in my case only one year jail and he hung up saying "good luck one year in jail!"
I couldn't stop laughing after he hung up. But when I texted my friends about this Jerk they said this is a huge scam going on and these guys are targeting Indians more or less. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY! IT IS A SCAM AND REPORT TO IRS IF NEEDED. I AM GOING TO REPORT IT TO MY LOCAL POLICE SINCE HE HASN'T STOPPED CALLING ME.

They left a message that sounded like a very bad computerized voice advising me to call them directly at this number immediately. They said they were from the IRS and I had some sort of deficiency in something and it was urgent that I call them right away before legal "allegations" would happen (lol). Well, the joke's on them, first of all the IRS communicates via the postal service and secondly, rarely, if ever, does the IRS just call you out of the blue without a previous written and/or verbal communication and NEVER do they call on a holiday (it was MLK day and the IRS was closed). I got the same call. Brian Allen left me a message and when I called back a woman answered after a few failed attempts to call this number. At first it did not ring and then when someone picked up there was nobody on the other end. Speaking with this woman (also Indian accent) she said there was a mistake on tax return and they sent numerous documents but we never fixed anything so dept of homeland security was coming to arrest my husband. I immediately panicked because I have 4 children, 2 if which are 3 month old twins. She told me she will send a fax to the officer to see if she can stop them and they will contact me immediately. Some other guy called right away with a clean American accent and said we owe $1867.00 but if we pay $800 now we can hold it off until the weekend. That's when I knew it was a scam. I told him I'm not paying anything over the phone do he told me they were in the way to pick up my husband. I told him to come on over. LOSERS!!! Go get a real job instead of trying to rip everyone off!!

1/4/14. South Asian, i.e., Indian or Pakistani accent. Claimed to be with the IRS calling about certain "issues" with my tax liability. I told him it was a scam and hung up. He tried again, this time said "this is not a marketing call, it's a legal call." Tried again, I did not pick up. Had tried 1/3/14 p.m.; I picked up but, when no one was there, I hung up.
