I was called by this number and asked how a vehicle was doing that I no longer own (haven't in 5 years). I said I don;t know haven't had it in 5 years. Scott responded with "I am not the BMV I wouldn't know the car you have and don't have." -- Then hung up. This number doesn't allow incoming calls.

Someone (Scott) called and left message about I am under federal investigation. there is compliant about me. I called when I got home and someone ( Paul White) told me there is IRS and Banking complaint. There is warrant arrest on me. He told me he knows I am honest guy. When I told him I do my taxes through agency. He was asking for money. Both guys had strong accent. He middle of our conversation hang up. I was very concern and I called Police dept. They told me it is scam. It seems this people do not have any moral to worry family to get money.

Just received a call from them saying their company purchases debts from collection agencies and that they have a judgement against me. They are way saying this is in regards to a credit card I had back in 2008 which had a credit limit of $250.00 in which I could only use $50.00. They are now saying I owe over $2,000.00. I received a call a couple months ago, which is says was from the company that had this debt before his office purchased it, and they told me that I owed around $500.00 or $600.00. How can the amount owed jump that high in just 2 months? When I spoke with that company 2 months ago, they said I could only pay half or the full amount and wouldn't accept any other payment arrangements. I had literally just started a job I had been at for 1 week and was more than willing to set something up to get it resolved when I got my first pay check but they wouldn't accept that. So I explained this to the people at this Colonial Asset Management place that called me today and they said since this case was in their hands now I owed over $2,000.00 and that they would only accept at minimum, a payment of $200.00 per month until it's paid off to keep it out of court. I informed them that I no longer was employed and that amount was way too high for me to pay but they wouldn't accept anything less. He then said they would rather get a judgement against me and take me to court rather than set up a payment that was more reasonable to me. I asked them why they would rather take this to court than to set up something more reasonable when a payments arrangement is what is going to be set up by the judge anyway and his response was that they would just rather take me to court unless I pay $200.00 per month. My opinion, which I definitely made him aware of, was that they (if they are who they say they are) purchase these debts and make their minimum payment so outrageous knowing the person cannot afford that amount just to take them to court to get all the extra fees and penalties. I escaped from a scamming organisation, claiming to be "Credit Card Services" who called me several times with the nice promise to lower my credit card APR if I could just confirm that I was the account holder and which card to start lowering first, because they claim to work for several banks. I just needed to give them the last 12 digits of my credit card number. They claimed that they already had the full number, but were required to verify the card number. Yeah, right. Luckily I did stick to my principle that I will only give my card number if *I* call a person or organisation that I know. If I am being called out of the blue, why would I give my credit card number? During the conversation, more and more cracks appeared in their ploy and in their good manners, I felt seriously pressured and already hung up on them, only to be called back immediately but then I calmly stuck to my principle: I do not give my number when I am being called. They tried a couple more times but finally they hung up on me. The numbers they used to call me are: 410-672-7961 and 253-753-9121. Even though I could not detect an accent, I have the suspicion that "Scott" and his supervisor "Robin" were not present in the USA and if they were, then they were hiding behind a badly overloaded VoIP telephone connection, breaking up all the time. Be aware and warned for this scam

Seeking donation via credit card. Raising money to help family of fallen police officers. Said local police department was a member. Pressed for donation and credit card info as he tried to answer my questions. Became loud and aggressive as the call went on. Told me to go to policeusa.com for more information. Became rude and hung up on me.
