They called my son with his new cell phone as well. I found that rather odd, since ive gad my number for 10 years, and hes only had his for around 6 months himself. They purchase this info, and use it to steal money. There is a cease and desist order from the state of Idaho against Vince Enterprises LTD. Cont your attorney general and file a complaint, with enough complaints they will open an knvestigation on them.

I got almost the same call. My father worked with the Department of Homeland Security for several years and he made some calls and found this company is a scam. I've been filing reports all over, at my bank, I filed an IC3 report and a report on www.consumerfinance.gov. They take over it from there. Companies are required by federal law to provide written documentation of any debt owed and/or trying to collect on. Good luck. Don't give Stark Recovery any information. It's a scam. Call any credit law agency and they will tell you what you should do. It'd probably be a good idea to check out your credit report too and to make a report of them having your SS# to the credit bureaus.

I received an urgent call from my husband and 2 daughters that a woman called looking for me and that if they didn't speak to me they would contact me at my place of employment. Ms. Jones then contacted me and accused me of taking out a payday loan and defaulting. I never in my life have taken out a payday loan. Before she would talk to me she insisted she needed to verify my personal info. which I said I would not giver her until I knew the company she was calling for. She again said Stark Recovery and I asked who the original company was before they "purchased" the debt and she said "we are not a debt collected" we are in litigation and will see you in court. She then said the original company was Pack Management Group. I told her again I have never received a payday loan and she said yes you did on 10/24/2012 and you set up a bank account at International Bank of Commerce to draft the payments and you defaulted. I asked her for written proof of this "debt" because I dispute this claim. She got hostile and said she wasn't going to "argue" with me. I did have an account with that bank during 2012 but we only used it with our paypal activities. I called that bank and with my old account number had the main branch manager review the account in Sept, Oct and nov 2012 for any activity related to either company and there was nothing!! no deposits and no withdrawals. One of my daughters has a private cell phone that she has only had for 6 months. She has not lived in my home for 7 years and I do not know how they even linked her to me. i am very upset wondering how many family members they managed to call. I asked her who I should contact for proof about this debt and she said I can pay it and they will send me a letter saying it is paid. By the way I supposedly received a $450.00 loan and now I will owe upwards of $2000.00 due to court costs. I am trying to file a complaint with the BBB but the computer keeps locking up when I try to select the company. Anyone know where I should file a complaint

Same incident has happened to me. I was actually naive and dumb, scammed into giving Vince Enterprises my info 2 months ago (spoke w/a Mr. Jackson), and was out $300+ with that screw-up. NOW, Stark Recovery called my mom's cell #, gave some #411 bogus ref. # and threatened all the same threats. I called, spoke with a "Mrs. Rivera" who refused to tell me the line was recorded, refused to tell me what address and # they had "on file" since it was a legal matter.. and get this, she demanded I verify my SSN to her. I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving that information, especially since I have no idea what they're calling me for. She hung up on me! :) People are somethin', aren't they?

I received 2 calls at my work, 1 on my cell phone and my 2 son's received a call from them as well. They said they were calling in regards to a legal matter and when I wouldn't verify my SS# they would not give me what the legal case was about. they gave me a reference #4118471. Scam all the way, they said they forwarded the case on to legal proceedings.

My job just received a phone call from this Jennifer Wright stating that she needed to speak with my immdeiate Supervisor the receptionist told her he was out on training she did not give out to much infomation but said it was a urgent matter. I looked them up "Stark Recovery" and notice that it is a scammer she gave reference# 4114110.
Anyone who is getting scammer calls please do not pay them just file a complaint and let the law take care of them

This woman has contacted my mother. My father and my mother in law. I received a call from This jennifer wright saying she is a litigation specialist and if I do not pay on this debt tgey will take legal action. When I asked them to send something out they said they only send via email. She also transferred my call to an "attorney" and he advised me to get a prepaid visa card to pay off my debt. They call everyday saying by this evening we will take legal action. I'm still waiting. They are fraud. Do not give them your information.

I received a call today from Jennifer Wright from Stark Recovery. She said that I took out an online payday loan 9/9/12 from a company named Vince Enterprises, LTD. She said that the loan was $350 and I had defaulted on payments. She said that I had 2 options, the first would be they would come to my home or work to seek legal action, or the second I could pay them $810 to avoid attorney fees, etc in the amount of $2810. When I told her I had never heard of Vince Enterprises she then spouted off my SSN, my address and email address, again I told her that I had received nothing from this company via the mail or email nor was I familiar with Vince Enterprises. She said that she had an electronically signed contract by me and it was proven that it was me and I owed the debt, when I asked for a copy of the contract, she told me that they were going with option one and that they would come looking for me. Is this real?? This is just crazy!

Trying to collect 1000 dollars on a 400 dollar original debt. Will not send me any info or paperwork and told me to get a prepaid visa to pay off this debt. They called my mom mother in law and said if I didn't pay they will sue for 3000. They call before 8 am every day.

I have had several conversations with these people. They claim that I received a $400 payday loan from a SJM Marketing on November 14, 2011. She said I can pay now $760 or they will sue me and I will have to pay $2700. They have my address, SSN and contacted my Granddaughter looking for my daughter. They claim to have an electronic agreement on an email account that I was using at the time. The oldest email I can see on that account is Jan 2012. They gave me the account number that I was to have repaid the loan from. This account was closed because we had fraudulent charges against it. I have been contacted on several occasions by people with a heavy Indian accent who have said they will see me court and wish me Good Luck and tell me they feel sorry for me. They never gave me their company name and after harassing me non-stop @ work, they finally gave up. They were rude. This lady was not rude but she was not budging. She said first she would give me until Monday but later she said she would give me to the end of next week. She has not provided me with any proof, just said they have an electronic contract on my email. I told her I was going to have the bank pull my statement for that month. I told her I would provide the copies of the bank account to show I did not receive the money and I asked her how they were going to prove that I did. She advised me to pay the $760 and then pursue it later. That is what most people do. How do I go about reporting this?

These people have been harrassing my for 2 years now. They have threatened to serve me papers at my work. When I told them to bring it.. I never saw them. Then they started harrassing my ex sister in laws (by 10 years). My in laws, my mother, my brothers, my work. They say there is legal action and I will go to jail. When I spoke to them I said, send me the info.. They never did. All they do is call and harrass and threaten. When I or my husband call back we ask them to send info every time. They never send it. They have details of supposide bank info, they have personal information that they use to threaten, but they never follow through. How in the world do you stop them???

Left a voice mail about a serious legal matter and when I called back she wanted my SSN without telling me why she was calling except it was a serious legal matter and that she was litigation specialist and she already had my ssn she just wanted to confirm that it was correct and when I refused and asked if I could verify with something else she basically said they would find me and proceed with legal action and to have a nice day, yet I still have no idea what she wanted she refused to tell me what the call was in reference to

I received a voice mail at work requesting to speak with the manager or supervisor of Latosha stating it's an urgent personal matter. When I called the number back immediately a maletter answered stating stark recovery legal dept. I asked to speak with Sarah Jackson and he transferred me to her. She stated asked if this was Latosha, and rattled off my social security number and other personal information. She stated u had two options either u could pay $2730 or option 2 pay $730.00. She stated this was an online payday loan I took out on May 14,2011 for $350.00 with Align Online. I told her I never took out a payday loan with an Align Online. She then asked if I had a bank accounting ending 6146.I told her anyone can get personal information offline now a days. She said I had until 3pm to to call her with which option j am taking. I told her I will be contacting the FCC to report this call. No response. I asked why was there nothing received in the mail. She stated it was email correspondence. I told her I never received anything and could she maul mr something. The reference code she gave me was 4109285.

My Mother, Father and my MINOR son received a call from "Stark Recovery" looking for me claiming if I don't call back legal action will be taken against me. Eric from Stark Recovery called the following day claiming I had taken out a online loan for $300 back in Feb 2012.. Eric had all my information SS#, checking acct# and my home address. (That freaked me out)Eric said if I didn't pay $870 today they would take legal action against me in the amount of $2870.i would verify any information with Eric which highly irritated him after he tried to confirm my info 10xs and gave up and said " we will just persue with the legal action against you, GOOD LUCK!!" These people are big time scammers!! Be careful!! Tell them this is your demand for a cease and desist to not call you or your family members anymore!
