Recording purportedly from IRS saying IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. Clearly, such a statement doesn't even make sense. IRS doesn't file lawsuits like this, and certainly wouldn't do so via a telephone call. Yesterday, from different phone no., different area code, different city, received voicemail with same message. Both recordings ask person to call back. Hope this scheme doesn't draw naive or elderly into a financial scam.

someone from this phone number keeps calling and saying they are from the IRS and to call them back. I looked into this number and found out that it is a scam and that the IRS would not call your house.
