I got the same call yesterday on my cell phone while at work for the SAME amount of money; scared the life out of me! He was saying "I have an officer on the line, witness to this call... officers are en route to my address (he read me my address)... the only way to stop this is to..." Then I hung up and received a call back number from "911". "911" doesn't call YOU, you call them lol. We caught them in several lies and then they just hung up. I tried calling them back numerous amounts of times and they'd just pick up and hang up. So strange...

Got a call from (323)786-0797. Did not pick up. Got a message on answer message. Man with Indian accent identified himself as Philip Smith from Legal Affairs Department, saying something started on my name and urging me to hire someone from his team to do it for me... I could hardly understand what he was saying.

same thing, this guy scared the shit out of me. Trying to arrest me, and told me I was already sentenced for 6 months in jail. Owning taxes of $4900.00.
Said they can suspend arrest if I paid an amount or something. They don't accept credit card over the phone. And asked me to drive to an Rite-Aid to purchase some money payments thing. Told me I can't hang up, drive to rite-aid, put cell-phone on speaker phone.
Luckily, my wife google search it's a fraud and told me in time, then all of a sudden I awake, and ask them to FXXK off, you fraud !

Man with Indian accent called, claimed there is a claim against me from Dept of Treasury, and that i was going to be arrested. I told them that i was calling the police and asked them to hold. He told me i would be jailed within an hour. My wife called the number back a few minutes later asking for Philip, and she was told to F***-off for not paying our taxes

Spoke to three different men (all Indian or Arab accents) claiming to be from the IRS and/or the Department of Legal Affairs in Los Angeles. Told me I didn't pay my taxes on time. Said I would be arrested and held for six months, lose all my property, etc. Kept waiting for the catch, like give me a credit card number, make payments or something, but at the end he just said, "So prepare to be arrested."

I recieved a phone call from PHILLIP SMITH from DEPT OF LEAGAL AFFAIRS saying I needed to let my daughter know that she was in a leagal mess and needed to call him back right away because there has been a legal problem put against her name. I called the number back and it sounded like the same Indian sounding person PHILLIP SMITH and I told him he just called and he said "Not from this number" I told him that he was going to be arrested and he laughed really hard.
