Our house phone has had many phone attempts (morning, noon and night) from this number. I finally answered it and the caller "clicked on" identifying herself as Amanda with Breast Cancer Research" and asking for the lady of the house. After explaining she wasn't available she said, "oh I can talk to either one of you". I explained we were on the do not call list and had an unpublished phone number. She then began to get very "pushy" at which time I got hotter under the collar and told her in no uncertain terms to remove us from their list. I am so tired of these constant bogus phone calls on landline and cell phones I could strangle someone. What does it take to get these "dickheads" to leave us alone.
One thing is for certain, we will not contribute to these "nonprofits" anymore! Perhaps that is the way to get the message across.

A call from this number went to my voice-mail and I could hear traffic (cars passing by) and the caller left no message. It almost sounded as if it were being made from a vehicle or someone off the side of the road. The call was made at 7:45 PM on Sunday. I called the number back and it was Organizing for America which is part of the Barrack Obama campaign to get volunteers. Would have been nice if they would have just left a message.

I received two calls today from 866-381-4879 claiming to be from Farm Bureau Insurance a subsidiary of Farm Bureau. Thankfully, I had already researched this number and immediately call my agent. There is no such person named Amanda and they are not affiliated with Farm Bureau.

Looks like the company is “Marketing Vista”, (727) 232-8500, 6411 Us Highway 19, New Port Richey, FL 34652 See: http://local.yahoo.com/info-43708233-marketing-vista-new-port-richey I would be very concerned about senior citizens who get these calls. The callers are slick and the whole script gives you the impression they are calling FROM your credit card company. They know your name, your town, and the last four digits of your credit card. My next step is to determine if my credit card information was sold to VISTA by a company I did business with...if so, they are next on my list for a serious discussion.

This number calls me several times a day and never leaves a message. So, I called them back and spoke to some japaneze lady named "Amanda". She went on about how she is going to send me a free sample of some weight loss product with a 30 day trial. I politely explained that I'm not interested numerous times, while she kept responding with info about the product, and how she has my address on file and WILL be sending me a sample. I finally got her attention after being loud, rude, and asking to speak to her supervisor. At that point she stated she would remove my number from the call list.
