BEWARE! FRAUDULENT NUMBER ! SCAM! DO NOT answer or call this number if it contacts your phone, cell etc...These are FRAUDULENT they are SCAMMERS who have a system that call with FALSE information and if you call them etc and you give them your information they go into your accounts and take out all your money. CALL the entity (Chase Bank, IRS,police, any law enforcement agency, moving company etc..) and report them! The entities have these numbers and take these numbers down for they are reported from those who have been de-frauded by these thieves. DO NOT cash any checks or write any checks to them or give CC information or Debit information, bank accounts etc...They have a system to try and fool people...DO NOT I repeat DO NOT call, give them money, give any information about your accounts, home etc..DO NOT go to the store and get money cards or whatever they tell you just tell them you will report them to the US GOVT and FBI FRAUD....These people have scammed thousands out of their $$$$!!!! Entities like the IRS or any US Bank DO NOT call you or contact you via text, and ask you to call them....if you are not sure call your bank and give them the number that called you and they will tell you its a FRAUD!...

I got a call from 480-902-6000, said it was Chase Bank and to please return the call at 800-848-9380.
I didn't return the call, preferring to check it out first... & for good reason!
According to various reports I've seen, both numbers are actually Chase Bank AND/or both are phishing attempts. Some reports said "Chase Bank told me it's a phishing scam."
I have also received email phishing attempts saying, "There is a problem with your Chase Bank account. If you do not contact us immediately, your account will be frozen." Pretty scary, but I have never used Chase bank, which makes it all pretty obvious.
I have also seen reports saying 800-848-9380 is a Bad Check scam, (like, trying to scare you into sending them a Money Order or some such.)
They often ask you to give your account number immediately... BIG red flag! NEVER DO THAT!

Recording stated this was Chase Bank letting me know my card had been suspended due to suspicious activity and asking for information to reactivate my card. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. This is a scam to get your card number and personal info.

Caller left a message and identified herself as calling from Chase Bank. I called the number and it asks one to type in the number or hit "#" if you have a voice mailbox on the sytem. I typed in the number and the system tells me it is an invalid number. I then type "0" and it tells me it will transfer me to an operator or "someone who can assist." There is music for 3-5 seconds and then the call disconnects.
