Also getting the same message but the number I was given is 347-305-4165. I believe the IRS would send a certified letter if they needed to contact me so I looked up her name and found these reports. What a scammer!

Caller falsely claimed to be with the IRS and said that I was being sued and that I needed to call (310) 362-4433 for more information. I do not owe any taxes, and the IRS has no reason to contact me.

An Indian-sounding man called stating that he was with the IRS and that I was being sued. He advised that it was my final notice. He knew my address. He asked where I banked. I refused to say. He threatened to take money out of my bank account (I reminded him he'd just stated he didn't even know where I banked)...he was very aggressive, he mentioned things like that I was going to jail - he even said he may "cancel" my social security number!

240 547 2488 is an IRS scam. The individual began calling me a n****r and telling me I wanted to s*** his***** after I called him out on the scam. Level 3 Communications has been informed of the issue with this number, as well as, the Prince George's County Police Department. Level 3 Communications did not seem very motivated to discontinue this number which is directly associated with their organization. The publicly traded stock company is proving why it is a horribly run organization for investing anyone's time and money. The initial agent I spoke with a Level 3 Communication (Jeffery Montoya) was extremely condescending insisting he was going to control the conversation and refusing initially to reveal his name.

This guy with a Indian accent and decent english keeps calling claiming to be from the IRS. He said that we owe thousands in back taxes and if we dont pay we will be arrested.
I called him back and started to play along until he caught on from all the laughing. Then he became rude and started cussing.
Reported to FBI, IRS, FCC and local police.
Said they cant do nothing because its over seas.

I just got a similar call. Young man with poor English said he was with the IRS and stated that I had a tax "issue". He wanted me to call Mark Victor at 585-444-6935.
I called the FBI but they directed me to the FTC at 877-382-4357.

I got the same call from a deep voiced "Mark Victor" claiming to be an IRS agent. Number given was: (202) 506-9213.
I head uncomfortable bowl movement when I heard the message, even though I pay my taxes on time. :)
My reasoning for it being fake is it's the first attempt to contact me, and they don't even mention my name.

This # is scam / fraud they just want to give you a unnecessary heart attack and scare you in to giving them your debit card # so that they can charge you large amount of money for something you didn't even do! They are posing to be from the IRS but they aren't. IRS will only contact you from official traditional communication via postal mail. And if ever in doubt, you can always call the IRS directly. Don't fall for this scam call, there are some that have been unfortunate victim of this inhumane scam. Take caution, report this # directly to the IRS at 1-800-366-4484, and advise friends and family to not take these calls seriously.

They claimed them self IRS enforcer and he said his named is Mark Victor and threatened to prosecute you with court proceeding with case number and arrest you within two hours.
He is nasty jerk and need to be arrest himself for scamming. The number (585)697-3455 is still active. It will ring and then busy signa. Report them to local police in Rochester. Choice communication should cut off this phone line please.

Just got a call from this number. i was on the phone so I called the number back to see who called. the guy who answered had a foreign accent and said "Hello IRS how can I help you". You could tell it was a call center as it sounded like a lot of people 20 or more talking in the background. I just hung up. Sounds like a scam to me.
