I got a call and message saying the IRS is filing lawsuit against me. Called them back three times. First two calls, I was hung up on when I ask who they were. I called back a third time and wouldn't give them my name but this time I hung up on them. All three times, person with heavy Indian accent picked up.

They will send a notice in the mail any time there's a problem. NEVER GIVE YOUR BANKING ACCOUNT INFO TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE NO MATTER WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE.

Got a robocall informing me it was IRS and they wanted me to call 360-356-1066. As a long time tax preparer, I figured I would call and string them along, as I know IRS would not contact a taxpayer in this fashion. I called and stated I want to pay everything I owed immediately, and said I figured I owed about #10,000. The man said don't worry, it's only $7,600 and asked if I could drive to the local Walmart and he would meet me there. He said I needed to bring cash. I said OK, and then told him I had to go to the bathroom and then I would call him back. What a fool this guy was.

Interpersonal phone calls. They are very clear on how you will be
contacted and how you won't.
There is info on E-mail Phising Scams. I have been called twice
this morning by these scam artists. I will be blocking there calls.
