Like my name says, I'm the scam buster. I've got your number and location. You will CEASE and DESIST IMMEDIATELY or you will suffer the consequences, which won't be pleasent! By the way, impersonating a US Federal Agency is a felony and so I'll be filing a complaint with the IRS and the FBI since this phone scam call crossed state lines.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.
Received a telephone call at my home from this company who stated that I owed money to the IRS (which I do have a minimal balance owed from last year) and if I didn’t send money owed to the IRS immediately to them, that a warrant would be issued for my arrest, I would be arrested in 2 hours, held without bail for 48 hours, deported to Washington D.C., have a fine of $75,000, would be a convict, and lose my home. If I was to ask anyone (family, friends, etc.) for assistance, and disclose this discussion and the reason for the money to anyone, contact an attorney, etc., I would be arrested in 2 hours. I was told to call whomever I needed to borrow the money from on my cell phone immediately while they waited on my home phone, and if I disconnected or ended the phone call with them, a warrant would again be immediately issued for my arrest. The caller stated that he had talked to elderly women before, and that I was acting “like an old woman” and I needed to step up and be a man.
I called the IRS and they said this is a SCAM they are aware of. They do not make phone calls as such as this, nor threaten people verbally. The IRS person I spoke with said she had a co-worker that received the same phone call, and employees that work for the IRS cannot be employed if they owe any back taxes.

This clown called saying he was from the IRS threatened to freeze my bank accounts, file charges against me, take all my assets and said I would be arrested within an hour unless I paid him $4886.73 When I called him out he even put a woman on the phone saying that the call was being recorded, and made all the same threats. I told them they were full of S**T and the cussed me out and hung up. So I called them back about 15 times until they blocked my number. I also filed a report with the IRS at www.treasury.gov/tigta as well as with my local police department and the Spokane WA police department

"Hey, I'm calling you from the Legal Affairs of the US Dept of Treasury--that's Internal Revenue Service. We were trying to reach you in regards to a very important issue since last month and months. We have a legal affidavit concerning a tax fraud on your lien. The hot line to reach us at is area code 202.779.9626. I repeat, it's area code 202.779.9626. Don’t disregard this message and do return the call. If or any reason you are busy to call us back, we would suggest you have your retained attorney to do it for you, as delay in calling us back might turn into a legal mess for you. Further we would be forced to contact the local authorities & release a case against your name, we hope you respond to this message as soon as possible."

This is a very sophisticated version of the IRS SCAM call using a Computer Generated 'female' voice that threatens a lawsuit and imprisonment if you do not call the number back immediately. Funny thing is, she tells you to have your LAWYER call! Any decent lawyer will tell you this is a SCAM . They called TWICE today within two hours from THIS number, and then less than two hours after that called again, SAME EXACT (Highly ILLEGAL) recording from 805-665-7927 which is a California CELL phone!
You can tell this is a SCAM because:
1. The IRS does NOT first contact you by phone; ALWAYS by WRITTEN LETTER, first.
2. The IRS would NOT call you using an anonymous CELL phone.
3. The recording does NOT ask for anyone SPECIFICALLY, NOR does it IDENTIFY WHOM SPECIFICALLY is calling you.
4. A REAL person would be calling (once they contacted you by letter) NOT a 'computer' voice.
5. They would NOT call from various phone numbers (Office LANDlines, ONLY) all over the country. They would be calling from Washington, DC OR your REGIONAL IRS Office.
6. The IRS has NO AUTHORITY to Arrest NOR Imprison anyone; ONLY the courts can do that and you would have to have a right to appear in court, first.
THIS IS A SCAM run by CRIMINALS who may or may not be within American borders. DO NOT fall for this. DO NOT call them back. Record the message if you can, BLOCK the number and REPORT to Authorities, including the FBI, IRS, DNC and your local police.
