Someone calling himself Jim calls and leaves a voicemail. He says he is from "VA Comp & Pen" (garbled) and wants to increase the recipient's VA benefits by $1000 monthly. He claims to have been trying to reach the recipient for days and says he will stop calling after today if the recipient doesn't call back. Jim is interrupted in the middle by co-workers, which seems to be an attempt to make it seem authentic.

I take care of a lady who cannot care for herself. She said she gets a call from this number daily. They tell her she won a trip sometimes a car. I answered the phone 1.5 weeks ago and asked the gentleman to please take her number off his list and stop calling. Well the same guy called again today and I reminded him to take this number off his list and stop calling. He then said, "This is not (name inserted here of the lady I care for) go F*** yourself!" I received a call from the number 206-414-0638 today claiming they are following up on my loan application. I DID NOT apply for any loans! This is a Seattle number, but I have received calls also from New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and unknown numbers, regarding loan applications, auto insurance, viagra, and one out right scam. ALL of these callers have been Asians without exception, and all of these calls have occured within the last 2 weeks, which leads me to conclude that this is part of some kind of network of hustlers and scammers. Obviously, I am not the only "victim" these scumbags are harrasing. I just want it to stop!

The spiel it gives was different this time around. It went - Hi, this is Jim from the Approval Department. Is... Is this the owner? Hello? Yes, this is Jim from the Approval Department. Is... is this the owner? May I speak with the owner? - At this point if you ask it a question like - Is this a machine? It will respond back with - I am a real human being. Just hung up on it this time. Reporting the call, once again, to the FCC.gov website.

My 73 year old mother recieved a call from this scam credit card company, They told her
They could lower her card to zero percent but needed her card info to do thatl
For her, she gave her info to them because she believed them, You can guess the rest.
Yes they stool all of her money off this card, She found this out when she went to fill her car
up with gas and the card did not work because it was maxed out, I had to meet her 3 hours
later after I got off work to fill her tank with gas.
Its amazing that here in the Usa that there are scam companies CARD SERVICES that have the nerve to call a person,lie to them , ask for your credit card to lower your intrest and get away
with it by get your personal info on your card, then use info and steal your money off your card, This scam company card services has an automatic phone calling system that calls you and when you answer a live person comes on the phone thats tries to get your credit
info, you can block thier number but you will end up getting another call and another and another call from still yet phone number, so them use lots of phone number to call from,
Not one of these phone numbers can you call back to, if you try and call them back

Ive worked in the banking and fraud areas for over 8 yrs and I know enough to not ever give anybody your banking or personal information a few bucks is never enough to go through fraud for trust me if its too good to be true it is dont waste your time value yourself and personal info above any phone call email or pm that sounds to easy trust me theres always a catch

Jim called and left message stating I won a Lincon Navigator. The nubmer Jim called from is 708-833-7719 number he left to call back is 866-313-0311. I called the 708# all it did was ring. I called 866# and Jim answered and immediatley asked for my name and address which I did not provide. I asked him what company he represented and what the nature of his call. He continued to ask for my information and told me I was the one who filled out sweepstake paper. I assured him I never fill out or enter any kind of sweepstake. Jim did not reply and simple hung up on me.. SCAM SCAM SCAM
