Today, June 15, approximately 10:30AM received call repeated 3 times, garbled, similar to BarbE in this thread. Number on Caller Id: 917-932-0014 M (Mobile). "Unknown" for Caller Name on Caller ID. Caller identified self as "Kevin Mason", same message as BarbE has provided.

In a single morning, I received 2 robocalls from a man with a strong Indian accent, who identified himself as "Kevin Mason" and stated that this is an attempt to contact me regarding some action with the U.S. Treasury Department - and that ignoring the message is considered an intentional second attempt to avoid something. "Kevin" didn't address me by name. The message actually cited that number; I've received this call repeatedly during the last several weeks. I know that no official government communication would be done in this manner and reported it to the FTC (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/). I'd urge others to file a formal complaint to hopefully push for an official investigation and action.

My story is much to long to tell. However it is very similar to posts entered on 07-08-2014 by Tabitha, Allan Fizzell and K.
My call was about my daughter who was going to be arrested at home or work in 45 min. if she didn't pay $1220.00 for back taxes in 2011. She did have a small problem that year with taxes which was taken care of. That's why I thought it was for real.We also checked and she owes nothing. Please - report what you have posted here to the IRS at irs.gov
These bastards need to be arrested after what they put me through.
