I just got a call from a Saun Adams as well. Didn't recognize the number, so let it go to voicemail. He said he was from the Dept of Legal Affairs and I needed to call back regarding a legal action that was taken against me. Call back number was 818.668.5371. I did not call back. This sounds like a major scam.

Sean Adams called my home number, my sister said that I wasn't home. He called again immediately to say that he is from the US Treasury Office and I needed to call 818-668-5371 because of some illegal activity.
I called this number, it sounded like a call center and the gentleman who answered the phone had an indian accent.
I asked to speak to Sean Adams, he asked me what phone number he called so he could pull up my records. I said that I wanted to speak with Sean Adams. The gentleman started to raise his voice and become short with me. I did not give my phone number.
I told him that it sounds like a scam and that I am reporting them.

Called asking for my son, heavy Indian accent, identified himself as Mike Smith - not too intelligible, made out that he was from Dept of legal affairs, my son called him back, claimed he was from US Treasury, that my son owed taxes from 2009, threatened incarceration, was going to have him speak to enforcer, way too many inconsistencies, hung up before he could get "closed".

Just received call from same scam with veiled threat using names Daniel Baxter and Chris Walker. Challenged to speak to supervisor, that was when I was threatened. Nothing specific but rather an "I'll show you. " Call was from Novato, CA using 415-506-2407

A message was left for me from Jack stating that he was from the US Treasury department of legal affairs. He claimed that a legal action was being taken out against me and stated that before any legal action was to be taken, that I am to call back and speak to him about it. Others have reported the same from this number claiming that someone will show up to the home to arrest them if they didn't take care of the situation over the phone. Total scam...

Same exact thing happened to me today. But they called my moms house for me. She took a msg. & I called the number back on my lunch break. It went to a voicemail and I left a message they have yet call me back.

SCAM, DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. They say they are from the U.S. Treasury, Department of legal affairs. They state a warrent is being issued for your arrest. They will try to get you to pay to stop the arrest warrent from being issued. Do not give them money. Do not give them ant information at all.

Got the same message from "Shawn Adams" from the Dept. of Legal Affairs today. (909) 589-1049. Sounded like he was calling from New Delhi.
