he claim to be with windows tech support saying that windows was get some kind of signal
from my computer .
nothing he said made any sents .i told him i had no need for his help yet he kept asking me to go to my computer and push the flag as he called it along with 5 or something to that effect. ask why i didnt get emails on this and he said because emails was personal.first time call i told him i didnt trust him he ask why instead of having any prof of the company he said he work for there was no way to verify who he was . he then called back ask him the same questions he said he would give me a cell number as prof that he was with windows .i began to tell him that didnt prove a thing i can have a phone number as i went on to call his BS he diconnected me.

Guy said he was from Windows in California. My computer had been sending out signals it had multiple attempts of attack.
I have a Security program on my computer which monitors all activity.
I am sure this was an attempt to get my credit information.
I am posting this for other people to be alert to this scam. Be careful out there.

A man with an Indian accent called me on this number claiming to be from Windows. He told me there was an urgent problem with my computer and asked for me to press certain keys (doing so would have granted him access to my computer). The thing is, I don't have a windows computer. The man got hostile when I asked for the name of his company and a number he could be reached at. I've received tons of harassing phone calls from these people over the last year and a half. They always change the number they call me on. Sometimes the number is not real (can't be called back, other times the number belongs to a legitimate, unaffiliated person or company.
This is not an actual person from Windows and they do not want to fix your computer. They want access to your computer so they can gather your information (credit cards, emails, other personal information, etc.)
Do not be fooled by anyone who calls on this number or any number who claims to be from Windows and tells you that you have an urgent problem.
Windows official website clearly states they are not affiliated with these people (whoever they are). Windows would not call you, you would call Windows. (As they are a huge company with millions of customers and most likely aren't spending their employees' time checking the status of their customers' IP address- not that they would have any reason to anyway).
The minute you question the person on the phone they try to revert the conversation back to you. If you cut them off, they get hostile. I told them to stop calling me once and the man told me he would call me every day for the rest of my life and then went on to threaten the life of me and my family.
This has been reported to the police. The police told me to report it to the bureau of better business, which I have.
This is most likely an out of country caller/hacker/lunatic. The police and bureau of better business haven't done much to resolve the harassment.

This number, 212-126-6632 doesn't exist in reverse look-ups. They are very well connected with my personal info, as they've called my house a few times and when we hung up they called my cell-phone, and my son's cell phone. I beleive this is a hack into Verizon since that's where all our phone service are from. Seems funny, 3 different phone #'s all asking about our Windows problems, which I wasn't aware I had any.

A female called to tell me she was calling from Windows and that they were receiving multiple error messages from my computer. She said it was very important that they help me resolve this issue and asked if I was in front of my computer. She was wanting access to my computer. After telling her that her call was a scam and unwarranted (especially since I have a MacBook), I hung up.

Got called twice today, once from 011-999-9100 and once from Unknown Caller. Both times they said they are from Windows (instead of Microsoft which should be the first red flag.) this is a scam where they tell you that Windows has detected a virus on your computer and if you give them remote access they will remove the virus for you. Do not fall for this scam or give anyone any information. Be safe!

Awesome! Just got a call from this number. Strong south Asian accent, background noise sounded like a cafeteria. Boy said he was calling from Windows. Then he asked "What are you doing now?" I was a little confused at that question. I said, "I'm talking on the phone." Then he said "I am #$@$@ing you." Lovely. I said, "What? I can't understand you." He repeated it, then asked what I was doing again. I said, "If you're from Windows, don't you know already?" and hung up.
