I had the same number revealing I had 7800 waiting for of grant money. well he then gave a very old address and I said that was incorrect. then I told him I was not interested and would like to know how he got my address? He then said well Margaret FUCK YOU and hung up..... what the fuck.

Just got the same call, it rings on my end, I answer, then it proceeds to ring on my end as if I am calling someone, a foreign sounding man told me that I have been approved for X amount of federal grant money, I said no thank you please take me off of your calling list he said no, why would I do that, I said because I told you to, he said you can hang up if you want, I said after you confirm that you will be taking my number off of your list, he said he would NOT do it...i just put my phone on mute and he eventually hang up. SCAM! Blocked the number as well.

2nd call today. Answered call and it rang through to a foreign sounding person who would not identify himself or company. Told them to remove my number from their list and was first told "no" then was told it would cost $50.00. I demanded to speak to a supervisor who would also not identify themselves or company. When told to remove my number she said no and that she would call me everyday. I hung up and blocked number. Must be a scammer.

They call to try to get you buy a warranty on your car. However, they have no idea what kind of car you have or what the year is, so how do they know your warranty is going to expire. This is a scam they are probably trying to get your information to put a lien on your vehicle or steal your identity. Be smart if your warranty was up then you would get a call from the place you bought your car.

Rec'd a call today. Couldn't get where he said he was calling from. Asked for my husband, who was not in. Said they were calling about a vehicle. I advised we did not own such a vehicle. He then asked what vehicles we do own. I replied that it is none of his business. He stated it was. I affirmed again that it was NOT. He stated he would call back and speak with my husband directly.

I also recieved a call. Did you ever get served. A Mr. Thomas calls and says he is with a judicial delivery service wanting me to call them so I can get served with papers either where I work at or a residence. They claim to be lawyers from a collection agency.

My boyfriend got the same call either last thursday or friday, just before the labor day weekend...he wasnt able to answer so the person calling left a message. Some guy refered to himself as Ryan Scott and that he was trying to serve my boyfriend with legal court paperwork. He was told to reference a specific case number and that he had 24 hours to call back. The number we were given to call back just goes to voicemail every time for a company called Global Litigation Group. We left a message but no one has called back yet.

Ms. King called and told me that she was from the law offices of Carolyn Cox and said that I was going to be arrested for theft. She asked me if I have ever been arrested before. I asked her where she was calling from, and all she said was the "fraud department". After going around in circles with me telling her that I would gladly pay my bill, and her telling me that it is not a bill, she said that in 30 minutes I would be arrested at my place of business (and gave me the address). I told her that the consumer attorney that I have spoken with let me know that I cannot in fact be arrested. She said, "Well, when the cops show up in 30 minutes to arrest you I guess I'll show you more than I can tell you." Then she hung up.

Called my elderly mother stating she had won a BMW, $29k cash and $550K cashier check. Stated she had to go to Walmart and buy a GreenDot cash card. Very persistent called every 1/2 hour. Wants the number off the back of the card. Once he has the number off the card he has the cash.
