Called at 7:40 am to say we had legal trouble with IRS. Gave us our address when we asked for proof not a scam - scary! Told us to call Damon Marshall at 202-506-9680. Checked IRS website and googled the number to confirm it was a scam. This is why we never answer our landline anymore.

Scam. Claiming to be IRS. They are contacting the elderly trying to get them to send them money for incorrectly reporting their taxes. These people need to be stopped. You can contact them at 844-241-1465 and let them know they are scammers and that they need to be put in jail.

I received the same called....Scared my wife to death! I thought it was rather odd because whenever I've communicated with the IRS, it's been by registered mail....NEVER an automated phone call!

I received several messages from this number pretending to be from the IRS and calling regarding problems. All people spoke with a thick accent. When I called the number back, "Michel Black" answered the phone, again with a thick accent. Very upsetting.

Someone with a foreign accent calls and claims to be from the IRS. He says I owe them $2000, however, since I'm retired I haven't done taxes since I've been employed. When I asked him for his badge number (which all IRS personnel have) he said he didn't have one. Total scam.

He called saying he was from IRS, but something like had unfortunately happened to us before so we knew the very first second that they were fraud. Because IRS people don't call and say call us back, or they don't let me talk to my senior. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEM. They are a scam, after we humiliated they guy, he called after a few mins and start cursing, NOW if he was from IRS do you think he would call back to curse? Of course not It's a scam!!

When they called, I was woundering what was going on, because next thing you know, I had an "FBI" trying to block my internet. I called the cops right away and they informed me there was no FBI anywhere near me. So right as soon as my husband blocked them they took off. We had to file a report and when I asked them about the phone call they said to file a report about that as well. I am hoping they get it taken care of.

"Hazel" just called. Same threatening garbage as the other calls. When I refused to give info, she said she was calling the police to have me arrested. Told her the chief lives next door and I can save her a phone call...he's home. She hung on me :)
