Feminine robo-voice stated it was the IRS calling and that I should not disregard the call "before legal allegation" was taken. First of all the IRS would contact a person by mail or certified mail if it was urgent. Second, the grammar was not even correct in the voice mail. Then they say "goodbye and take care" at the end. It's almost funny.

Same exact thing as everyone has been commenting. Caller from 844-854-5524 Some guy with an accent and stating there is case against you, you have not paid correctly between 2008-2012. Someone has to stop these criminals and report them to IRS or FBI.

They left a threatening message when I called back they stated the IRS and we owe some stupid amount...they are the criminal department they asked for my husband when I told them I was his wife he wasn't here, they asked me if we filed jointly, I said you should know that they gave me dates ranging from 2008 to 2013 I asked what year..he got upset and said don't talk to me like that and hung up...when I redialed they hung up on me. I feel this is a fraud looking for money they didn't give me a 800 number, where very unprofessional and didn't speak English.

Doesn't say what the matter is regarding just that he needs to talk with me or my lawyer but failure to call or my lawyer to call will result in dire consequences for me.. So, do I call him back or ignore his message?

Called on Saturday leaving a message to call as soon as I received the message or have my attorney call. Went on to say not to ignore or they will take legal allegation (not sure what that is! lol). My husband suggested I look up the number and that when I saw all the complaints.

Call advised that I had been audited over the last 7 yrs and that I was being sued by the IRS for $3000 dollars in taxes not paid because of something to do with India. I asked several times if he was calling from the US Government and he advised he was calling from Washington D.C. and that he worked for the IRS. When I started questioning him about the supposed lawsuit he advised that he would have to research the case and get back to me. This is a complete scam!!!!
