Automated message from the "IRS" telling me to return the call "this second" to avoid legal action against me. I know this is a fraudulent call because it was made to a secondary number that is not on file with the IRS. And I doubt that they'd make a robo call without sending a letter.

Called before 8:00 am impersonating IRS agent I asked for his name and badge number he said his name is Ray Fleck badge number is 06631 and demanded over $4000 need to be paid in 45 minutes or they will send police to arrest me. I asked to talk to his boss and another Indian guy referred him self as Paul White badge number 1209 and demanded for money wanted to be ETF in 5 minutes which I told him go %$%$% himself and hangup on him. Called FBI and treasury dept 877-382-4257 filed complaint. I hope these basters get cut.

Same as Richard said. I looked up the address for the IRS in LA. Pauls address didn't match, he gave me a Long Beach address. He claimed they sent two letters but I wasn't home. I'm not working, I was home. He threatened to contact the state police and start court procedures. I told him to go ahead... he hung up.

Just got a call from a Forien guy with a thick middle eastern accent says he is from the IRS and will be filing charges of Fraud and Tax evasion for a passed dues amounth of 1230 dollars for a discrepancy back in 2008-2010.
Hevy scare tatics of calling the police and court and Fines up to 80,000 and 6 years jail time. After calming myself down, I did some reserch on the phone number resulting and finding other scams being ran from this number. Called a Tax Lawyer who reassured me that what I suspected was right. Just one big Scam.

That guy is a scam artist trying to pretend he's from the IRS. He may call using different numbers to confuse people. I hope they catch him soon. Does anyone know of a way to track that number down? For anyone who's annoyed by his calls just block his number or call him tell him that he will get arrested for this.

HE STATED HE WAS ALEX WATSON WITH THE IRSLEGAL DEPARTMENT.YELLED AND SCREAMED TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO JAIL MONDAY A.M. WOULDN'T SAY FOR WHAT WAS VERY ACCUSATORY AND NOTHING WOULD SUFFICE THAT I SAID. EVENTUALLY HE DID SAY HE COULD TALK TO THE RESTITUTION DEPARTMENT. I TOLD HIM THE CALL WAS RECORDED AND I WORKED IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND WOULD BE GIVING IT TO THE SHERIFF. HE HUNG UP ON ME INSTANTLY. HE WAS READY TO TAKE A PMT BEFORE THAT.
