This man just called me and said he was from the IRS calling to collect a debt. Said I was about to be arrested and all my accounts frozen if I didn't pay immediately. Gave me a name and badge number to sound official. However, he was so rude and demanding that I thought something wasn't right. He knew my name and address which is pretty scary. I told him I'd talk to my tax guy and clear things up. He insisted that if I hung up, I'd be arrested immediately. I hung up on him and did some googling. I was correct. The IRS state on their website that they would never call and demand immediate payment. Be careful people!!!

This number calls phishing for different employees multiple times a day. I have even told them I have reported them to the FBI and hasn't made a difference.
They have said they are from UPS, Fex-Ex Corporation, etc... phishing for different employees but can never fully get the names right.
When you google the number is shows as a google number and not an actual land line. If you google map the location that it tied to this business line it is actually in a shopping mall and the space is for lease.
These people are a joke! They just say ok and hang up when I tell them to stop calling and that they have been reported to the FBI.

I believe that at least two different cyber crooks got into my computer or perhaps they were worming together. From my personal experience, I can relate that they first send some sort of virus computer virus program that weakens your computer. Slows it down, doesn't respond properly and keeps freezing up.They changed the settings often and also disabled my Malwarebytes anti scumware program. My Avast anti virus found this: Win32:BProtect-D Trojan Horse.

Calling in reference to a two year payday loan. Threaten to arrest me on three counts of fraud. When I took out the loan I was working. I haven' t worked in two years. However, I will be working in January, but I do plan on paying it back. I have checked South Carolina laws on payday loans, and according to what the laws states, that can't arrested you for a payday law, it is a civil matter.

Having someone call me from South Carolina saying they were sending the police to have me arrested. I plan to pay this loan back. When I took the payday loan out I was working. This person John Smith even told me soon to be, New employer that I was part of a fraud investigation. Why, I can sue them for that.

Received a call from an Indian "character" with the name John Smith. The caller left a message, which stated I was being investigated for fraud activity.
They called my work place and my cell as well. Don't know who they received any of my information. I rarely provide any information over the internet; however, earlier this year, I did apply for a loan, but did not follow thru with the final paper work after being approved. Please let me know if this is similar to anyone else that is receiving the same call

This low- life scumbag called my job on my day off saying he needed to speak with me about a case. They called me from work & gave me this message. When I called the number back William Turner answered & said John Smith was busy. I informed him that my attorney wanted to speak with John Smith but he said John got fired today. I called again for the heck of it and John Smith answered. Lol. I wish the bumbs would mount their camels and ride non stop back to India...

Second time this has happened now! First time they said I owe money to a payday loan place. Called me hundreds of times, and every extension at my work hundreds of times. I asked them to call me, not my work. They responded that they will call my work until i get fired, or i pay them! Reported them to local police and phone company. Will be doing the same with this situation. Said my account is going to the courts. Heavy middle eastern accent. Asked me how much money i make! Said I owe money to Cash Net. Told him I've never done any business with Cash Net. He then told me Cash Net has hundreds of lenders they use and I have an account with one of them. I asked which one and he couldn't tell me. This is rediculous that these people are able to keep doing this. Why are they not arrested????? Please do something about this!!

On 4/9/2012, I received a voicemail message from someone claiming to be named John Smith. I could not understand the voicemail because the guy apparently didn't speak English very well. I did understand that he said that the information was time sensitive and that I needed to get into contact with him immediately and something about retaining an attorney. I tried calling the number back to find out what this was all about but the call would not go thru. it kept hanging up after 1 ring. I then called from a landline phone and was able to reach another guy claming to be named David Cooper with some firm having to do with the Federal government. He then read off to me some "affidavit" indicating that Federal criminal charges were brought against me in connection to Payday Loan fraud. That a payday loan was applied for online with my email address and the funds were deposited into PNC bank account but when they trued to electronically debit the payment from my account, the funds weren't there. I advised him that I had not received any funds whatsoever from any payday loan. I asked him when this supposedly occurred an he stated they tried to do the elctronic debit from my account on 2/20/12. I again stated that no such transaction has ever taken place and who they claim to have as my employer where they are supposedly sending the sherrifs to is outdated. Mr Cooper stated that I will be arrested as of 1:30 pm today and if I dispute the charges, I can take it up with the sherrif when they come to get me then he hung up on me.

The same message and MO that I've been dealing with for over a year from different numbers across the US. Usually phone numbers are from NY or CA and the person calling sounds the same. A thick accent, somewhat difficult to understand, and using basic names. Threatening to sue me, that I owe money which I don't owe, stating police will be involved if I don't do something right away, etc...

This guy made many harrassing phone calls to me today at my job, which interfered with my work and the work of my co-workers. He was foreign sounding and very rude and I could hardly understand everything he was saying. He told my Boss lady that I had performed illegal acts and stole some money, leaving me pretty disturbed. His number was 315-538-9905. He also said something about giving me 4 or 5 days to call him back and give him my information and that he needed my social security number so he could help me with this matter. He really didn't even make sense. I sure hope someone catches him soon, and lets myself and others know about it.

Indian accented guy, stating there's a warrant for my arrest and do I know a guy named Jack. They left 3 automated messages with a call back number of 844-703-8350 and 855-979-6588. He give me a file number and asked to listen to there instructions and don't interrupt. I think it's a number you call an keep you on the phone because they paid by the minute.
