This was a robo call stating offer for seniors ..if applicable press option (?) ..I hung up. These have been coming in w/ a vengeance since yesterday 7/24.
I believe these are auto generated from China. I was able to block almost all from the 877 code yesterday, but this one leaked thru as an 800 today, which is not blocked by me yet.

This spammer has called my land land several times yesterday and today. When somebody finally spoke they claimed it was about new timeshare rules and free dinner. When I asked from what company they replied their contract prohibited them from providing that information. Told them I was not interested. Since that call early yesterday (Sunday) the frequency of calls have increased. I blocked their number and they started calling from an "invalid number" (116158662775) which I cannot block!!!

This phone number is a complete spam number using old financial account data to try and scam people out of their money. To be clear, when I called the number back, after a fair amount of time on hold, my call was answered by someone claiming to be in a state other than the phone number I called. While they had my valid name and the last four of my social security, they did not know exactly what type of account they were calling about. I asked if she was aware that they were registered as a spam phone number. She said that she only has one number and it was not the number that I called so she didn't know how the number I called rang in to her in another state. I asked for my parents and I to be removed from her call list. She said that was not possible until the debt was settled. When I asked if she could mail me a copy of the alleged account, she hung up on me. Do not give these people a dime. Answer them if you want, but if you do, please try to sell them used diapers. That is all that they deserve.

Called and left a message on my mother's answering machine. Caller said something to the effect of: "This is the IRS. This is your final notice before we file a lawsuit against you". My mother (in her 70's) was very scared. Called me and asked me to look up the number. I called the number while my mom was on the line. A woman with a thick accent answered immediately. I asked her which IRS office she was calling from and she didn't answer. I asked her if I could speak with her supervisor and she said no. I asked her why I should believe she was actually calling from the IRS and she said, "If you don't believe this is the IRS, why don't you just hang up?".
