Dude said he was from the Treasury Department & hanging up on him or not listening to his message would result in dire consequences. I told him he was a scammer and hung up. I immediately dialed the number back. He answered as Treasury Dept and I blasted him by telling him I was going to report his number and that he called me illegally for a phishing expedition. These people need to be stopped. I feel sorry for the people that don't realize it and actually give these guys information or money.

This guy called me four times in two hours telling me if I didn't cooperate I would be invited by a grand jury and possibly sent to prison. He spoke with a very heave Indian accent. He did not know my name.
If you get a call like this do not call them back, they are scammers. Go to the U.S. Treasury web site and fill out the complaint form under the fraud reporting section.
