I'm not sure if what I received via a Google wannirg alert is the same thing mentioned here as the Google wannirg alert I received couldn't have been related to my email account do to the fact I received it the instant I logged onto my brand new computer for the first time. I'm curious if any one else has had a similar experience? The wannirg gave in depth details to include the mobile phone number blocking me and redirecting all my Internet traffic and access. It gave me a detailed account of the location i.e the hotel in the San Francisco area and even stated the person was located in the cafe within that Hotel.The alert also listed a lot of personal info about me as well as the hacker. Has anyone else experienced this type of Google alert? It was such a blessing when I received this alert as I had been blocked from accessing the Internet for at least 8 months. I knew it was my then estranged husband and upon Google sending me the wannirg alert providing me all the proof I needed against my now ex-husband. I took a snap shot of the wannirg alert and have made several copies buried with in numerous Cd's. I bring this up because My husband is a wolf in sheep's clothing within his Profession as an I.T & information security Consultant/Pro and very good at what he does. He has the power to turn a persons life upside down if he feels they are a threat. Not only do they not respect your wish to be placed on a do not call list, but they hang up on your when you tell them you're not interested. They want to offer a "free" home monitoring security system in exchange for putting a sing in your yard. Not sure how much of a scam that is, but they're rude and obnoxious.

I received the same message from a Mr. Michael Clark with the heavy Indian Accent for a Mark...No last name given. When I called back they asked for my last name and attached it to Mark .... Which is the same last name as my brother-in-law and said he had an hour to call back. It sounded fishy so I looked it up and found your comments. Thank you for showing me that this is a total scam

What I think is these call centers get numbers from the fcc on do not call list.I think they use some of them numbers.just saying.

Be very, very wary of these calls - do not take them lightly....Think very carefully before surrendering any information...But the worst thing you could do, is to draw extra attention by refusing to cooperate. These calls are actually made by a sham company overseas that generates a survey for a U.S. Government agency which I can't divulge, due to existing contractual obligations and serious imposable penalties. This agency investigates companies and individuals that have been listed as either; being of questionable character, possible threat to society or known to participate in or organize others in activities detrimental to others and appearing to be un American in nature. The central location of this agency is located outside Washington D.C. and has satellite offices around the world. These calls should be taken very seriously, noting that any information that you might provide will be collected for the purpose of building a case against you. Remember - the APPEARANCE of guilt will be a reason for more thorough and detailed investigating.

They kept calling me and asked me to call back immediately. When I called back, they said they are IRS and asked for case number which I don't have. They then asked for my number then told me I am involved in tax fraud. They said I need to pay the tax and penalty immediately. If not, I will be arrested today. It is obviously scam. As soon as I told him I have a lawyer who can handle this for me. He hung up.

This is a scam. The way to get back at them is to block your number and call them back. Dial *67 then 202-241-9749. They have to answer the phone because they need to talk to people in order to scam them. Don't leave your name or personal info.
