Elderly mother in law recieved two calls inside one hour stating that "immediate action" was required to fend of a "second attempt by a magistrate, court order or enforcement action" with "serious consequences" for ignoring the call.
Caller had heavy (Indian?) accent and poor grammar.

Just called these jokers back. The first guy hung up on me when pressed him on his claim that he was with the US Treasury and that a warrant had been opened for my arrest for unpaid back taxes. I called back and spoke to a different character that said he was with the US Treasury and had my information on unpaid back taxes and that I need to take care of this immediately before I was arrested. I am doing more research on these clowns and will escalate this to law enforcement.

Tried to tell my elderly father that failure to call him back could cause jail time. We have told him not to answer the phone unless he knows the number but he does anyhow. TOTAL SCAMMER the return number doesn't even work.

I have been getting Scam phone calls sense I hooked up a land line two months age ( I am afraid to answer the phone because I was told they can excess your information ! )
This man with a Indian accent told me he was from the us treasury department and that this was the second time he has called and there would be action taken against me.
The Holidays are stressful enough .
We have been hacked into our credit cards and our bank account Happy Holidays

Provided same voice mail on my wife's number as Will mentions in the previous comment submitted. We called back and spoke to a woman who also had a thick accent. She could not provide any specific information, said agents would be coming to arrest her, and would not talk to me. She hung up on us when pressed for more information.

BEWARE!!!!!!!! Called saying that I was defrauding the government and that I would be arrested in 45 minutes; that IRS agents and the local authorities would be the ones arresting me; gave badge #'s of: 117486 and 115451; called from the 323-952-3906 # and an unknown # and left a message. I said, "oh what do I need to do; could you verify my bank account #" (he said he had it...lol, right) I told the dimwit I was tracing the call and the police have been notified; I told him to hold the line; of course he hung up.

Called four times in less than 3 hours by two different numbers with the same recorded message from a man named Steve Martin saying I owed money and or I would be taken to court. I actually called the number back and the same voice answered with a different name. I told him to stop calling or I was calling the police. We'll see what happens next.

I got the same thing! First call i got was at 9am. I ignored it, checked the voice message, said the same thing you quoted. Got another call around 11am, answered it, same message, just repeated itself. 3239523906 was the number. I called it back and a busy tone.
