Received a voice mail from this person who said if I don't contact him there could be legal issues. He has a very strong accent and basically threatens that he is warning us. This jerk needs to be stopped!

scammer leaves message trying to convince caller that they are with the Dept of Treasury, and are going to have you arrested. They want you to give them money so that they will convince the detectives that it was a mistake.
This is really stupid, you would be notified via registered mail by the IRS if there was an issue. Call your local IRS office if you are worried.

They have called 3 times today, both recorded messages, it was a male voice sounded like he was from India, he was hard to understand but the first call was a little different then the second two, but the recording said he was with the Us treasury dept. one time and the other 2 times was the Justice Dept. and that I was to go before a grand jury. It was there second attempt to contact me it would be in by best interest to call back. He stated his name Steve Martin gave the number again and said that I could be prosecuted if I didn't call back. Then he said let me help you by calling this number and he repeated it again 215 734-0226

First call I have received from this person stating that this is a 2nd attempt to collect information and that I am going to be reported. Also stated that a criminal action is going to take place.
Interesting fact the person that answered the phone who stated is name is Getty Walison sounds exactly like Steve Martin. It also sounded funny in the background.
You would have expected a collection agency to ask for your name, account number, birth date, address and perhaps SSN for confirmation but this guy only wanted what phone number they called on you.
