The number 213–4 37–6106 originated from Los Angeles. The caller stated they were calling about legal affairs and we need to retain an attorney and call back. I reversed looked up the number and found that it is a scam number like my intuition told me and I have deleted the number.

Caller said he was calling about a "legal affair" for ex husband. When I asked why, they said it was legal & couldn't tell me. When I asked if they were Muslim based on the accent & fact it was a scam, the male proceeded to call me multiple profanities. Which were exchanged back. The man even called back 3 times after I hung up until I blocked the call. There you go. The second scam attempt in a week. Really!!!

Caller with Indian accent left a message saying we needed to contact them and our attorney because enforcement action started in our name and if we delay it could be a legal mess. Caller id said unknown name but number was listed as213-437-6106.

got the same message yesterday from an Indian male calling himself Erin Rogers (his spelling). called this # back and just got machine saying to leave a message with the Dept of Legal Affairs of US Treasury. I hung up and am going to ignore this obvious scam

The clown told me that the IRS had sent me multiple letters and I had not responded so they were giving me one more change to pay up before taking legal action. This guy had a thick accent (I am guessing Indian) and so they are likely running this scam out of an Indian call center routing calls through this number to fool people.

I got the same call tonight from an Indian dude calling himself "James Washington" which was pretty hilarious. I am not sure what he was trying to accomplish as he did not even ask for any information.

Oh, and when I tried calling the number back it went to the voice mail of the so called Department of Legal Affairs. The voice mail message did not sound at all professional. Like others have mentioned, I too am on the Do Not Call list.

Caller with a slight Indian or Hispanic accent called to tell me legal action had been started against me and was wondering if I had received notification. (He did have my name.) It sounded spammy from the get go and I when I called him on it, he pretty much told me I'd better show up in court and hung up.
