A foreign sounding male claiming to be with Windows Tech Support. I knew it was a scam when he said that and I said good bye and hung up the phone. This isn't new to me because I receive these calls from various different numbers 3 to 4 times a week. A person would think they would get tired of calling if someone hangs up on them every time they call. But they don't seem to care.

COMPUTER HACKERS
This number has called me by name in the past claiming to be from 'Windows Tech' and that 'they got an alert that my computer has already been hacked.' They wanted me to give them information from my computer so they could show me the problem.
Knowing this was a scam and they were the hackers, I said I didnt have Windows and that I have an Apple computer, she immediately cut in and told me to hold for the Apple Tech Support. At that, I laughed to myself and hung up.
Also, there were a number of callers in the room they were in and the closest person next to her was clearly heard until she muted our call so I would not hear him.
Very convincing for the average person, please never give out info to anybody who solicits it and tries to scare you into it.

This person(s) hung up three times when I answered with our companies official welcome. Fourth time I recognized the caller ID and just said hello. She stated she was from windows tech support and that the call would be monitored. I stated that I am the IT for my company and we had not registered or reported any problems with our systems and she was misrepresenting her company. She promptly hung up on me. She was preying on any unsuspecting person who answered their phone.Beware!!!!!

Guy called me and claimed my computer was sending error messages and I needed to follow some simple steps to get the virus out. After messing with him a bit, I told him I used Macs. He called me an idiot and asked why I was wasting his time.

I rec'd a call this evening from a gentleman sounding middle eastern stating he was from Windows Tech Support and he wanted to assist me with the problems I had been facing. I don't have windows on my computer; therefore I immediately asked to speak with his supervisor. He stated he would gladly connect me to the supervisor and then there was an instant dial tone. I am tired of these folks calling my home. I don't want to become irate but these folks are pushing my last nerves!!! I just put my name on the DO NOT CALL registry once again. Is there any recourse for the constant calling? Please let me know...Thanks.

Called my work phone number and told me he was with Windows Tech Support and I had infected files on my computer. Tried to get me to tell him what was on my computer. I asked him to email me the steps of what he wanted me to do and he said they don't email the steps. I hung up and called our company tech support. No one by the name Justin works in our Windows support area.

Some ignorant cowardly loser who's father was a camel and mother is a pig wanted to "help" fix a problem on my computer. Claimed to be from windows tech support. I asked which computer - he said my HP. I asked which operating system and he said windows 8. I don't have such a computer. when I asked for address he said in his best good arab accent Manassas VA with a zip code 07043. Being from VA I know that's not the right zip - it's for Montclair NJ. He cowardly hung up when I mentioned filing a complaint with the FTC.
